In a mexican city Cancun the conference is taking place these days COP16dedicated to the problems of Global Warming. And within the framework of this conference, Eleventh Biennale of Contemporary Poster … It is not difficult to guess what topic all the works presented at this exhibition are devoted to.
The phrase "Global Warming" is one of the most popular words used in our time. Including in art. You can recall at least the giant installations dedicated to Global Warming, created by the social initiative 350 Earth, or the installation DUMBO Underwater, showing how the streets of Brooklyn will look after the sea level rises.
The Eleventh Biennale of Contemporary Posters was also dedicated to the topic of Global Warming. On it, artists and designers from all over the world presented more than a hundred different works, each of which reveals the specified topic in its own way.
These works condemn the cult of consumption, disregard for nature. They warn the inhabitants of the Earth that the resources of our planet are not unlimited, that everything on it is connected with each other, and without living nature, Humanity cannot survive.
However, as experience shows, posters and other artistic actions are not the best way to combat Global Warming. And to solve such problems, measures are needed, not measures.

Global warming is not the invention of British scientists, and it is not just scientists who are worried about our common future. Thus, the Japanese sculptor Takeshi Kawano approached this problem creatively. He dedicated a small but emotional author's installation to her called Melting Animals

Snow Vitruvian Man Against Global Warming
When Leonardo da Vinci first painted the Vitruvian man, he thought about harmony and the correct proportions of being. Now, 500 years later, the harmony of the world is under threat - and this idea was decided to convey to us by John Quigley, the author of the grandiose snowy (or rather, ice) Vitruvian man who
