He was born into a stellar family and, as it might seem, grew up as a completely prosperous child. Stas Piekha in childhood often appeared on television with his star grandmother, went on tour with her while his mother, Ilona Bronevitskaya, was building her career. No one could even imagine that already in adolescence he was a deeply dependent person. However, Stas Piekha admits today - his addiction has not gone anywhere, because there are no former fans of prohibited substances.

Lonely childhood

From early childhood he lived surrounded by music and with a complete sense of his uselessness. He had every reason to be proud of his relatives, and he suffered desperately from loneliness and lack of elementary attention to himself. Yes, Stas was always well dressed and well fed, there were practically no material problems in his family, but everyone was busy with their own business. Mom and grandmother constantly disappeared on tour and rehearsals, father Petras Gerulis, after a divorce from Ilona Bronevitskaya, disappeared from his son's life for some time.

At preschool age, Edita Piekha still took her grandson on tour, but later school began and Stas was increasingly left to himself. Their housekeeper looked after the house and Stas himself, but she could not fill the boy's need for love and care of loved ones.

Over time, Stas made friends, spent more and more time with them on the streets. Naturally, in a teenage environment, at first everyone tried to smoke, later they began to drink, and then completely addicted to prohibited substances. According to Stas himself, from 12 to 34 years old he was injected. To prevent his family from guessing about the addiction, he always wore long-sleeved T-shirts and house trousers. Already at that time, the veins were punctured both on the arms and on the legs.

And one day he fell asleep with a cigarette in his mouth, a fire broke out in the apartment, and he appeared before his mother with a naked torso. Only then did his family find out about his addiction, and he himself blamed his trouble, first of all, on his mother, who, in his opinion, did not give him her love and attention in childhood. They never had touching family traditions, cheerful Sunday dinners with their families, evening tea drinking with a discussion of what happened during the day.

When his mother and grandmother found out about the addiction, they together began to save him. They were assigned to one of the best clinics, they paid very serious sums to help him. And he tried to escape from the clinic, cried, experienced a severe breakdown and did not understand why they took away from him what seemed very important to him at that time.

Over time, he agreed that he needed to be treated. At that time, his struggle lasted two years. He practically did not leave the walls of the apartment, read a lot, played the piano, ate a lot, put on 17 kilograms and suddenly had the idea of becoming a worthy successor of the dynasty.

There are no former

He managed to graduate from the Spanish school of hairdressers and receive a diploma of an international stylist, work as a hairdresser, try himself as a singer in a restaurant, collaborate with the Pelageya group and finally made a firm decision to pursue a solo career.

Then there was "Star Factory", recording of the first album, touring, popularity and return to the abyss of addiction. He tried to control himself, but one drop of alcohol opened his personal Pandora's box. After a drop of alcohol, heroin appeared, and after that he again painfully got out of the state of drug intoxication. His marriage to Natalia Gorchakova fell apart, even the birth of his son Peter could not save him.

The breakdowns were always very severe, but he did not hear any alarm bells. Until, in fact, he almost said goodbye to life, having experienced a heart attack at 34, which he confused with a severe overdose. This became the starting point in his new life.

This time he fought his addiction quite consciously and was able to win. Life began to play with completely new colors, new desires, creative plans, aspirations appeared. And even the idea was born to help people like himself.

Stas Piekha opened his own drug treatment clinic, where he invited specialists of the highest level. Often he himself meets with patients and admits: unfortunately, there are no exes. He understands this perfectly, and therefore tries not to provoke himself.

He refuses to attend events where alcohol will be consumed, goes in for sports a lot, is distracted by any available means, communicates with friends who, like him, do not take either alcohol or prohibited substances. He analyzes the situation that caused the desire to drink, tries to drown it out and constantly reminds himself of the two coma experienced in his youth and the truly miraculous saving of life after a heart attack.

Fortunately, in the stellar environment they know that Stas Piekha does not attend parties and celebrations with alcohol and are not offended if he comes to congratulate colleagues on their birthday or other significant events separately from everyone. Now he tries to live in such a way as to be happy for himself, and not to please everyone around him.
