Dmitry Hvorostovsky and Florence Illy-Hvorostovskaya have been together for almost 20 years, filled with happiness, love, mutual respect and admiration. She will never be able to forget her first meeting with Dmitry, when he simply froze, looking at her, and later said that he had never met such beauty in his life. They met in Geneva, where Dmitry came to rehearse Don Giovanni, and, seeing Florence, fell in love with her at first sight. However, the girl also immediately understood - this is her person.

He looked after beautifully, gave gifts, surrounded his beloved with care and attention. Dmitry and Florence loved each other very much, and the singer all the years next to Florence looked at her with the same ardent delight that struck her on the day of their acquaintance.

Dmitry Hvorostovsky seemed to be the ideal of a husband and father. Florence was a budding opera singer, but after meeting Dmitry she left the stage, devoting herself to family and children. She does not see any sacrifice in this, she simply chose what was more important to her - her love. Entering the stage, he looked for her with his eyes and, if he did not find it right away, he whispered with his lips only: “Where is Flosha?”. She had to always be there.

As was with him at the time when he was given a terrible diagnosis. She so wanted to believe that he would definitely emerge victorious from this battle with a serious illness. After all, he can do almost anything. But Dmitry Hvorostovsky himself understood what was happening to him. Therefore, he asked his wife to be happy and enjoy every moment, every day.

But after he left, she was far from immediately able to recover. Florence found it hard to even imagine how her life would turn out without him. Florence tries to fulfill her husband's request and learns to be happy. True, every month on the 22nd, a photo of Dmitry Hvorostovsky appears on her page on the social network. And in the signature she writes how many months have passed without him. And under each entry the words: “You are so badly missed. Rest in peace, Dima. I love you forever…"

She still lives in Great Britain, but she very often visits Russia at events dedicated to the memory of Dmitry Hvorostovsky, and visits his parents. In addition, Florence Illy-Hvorostovskaya is thinking about writing a book about her husband and possibly making a film. But now her most important stimulus to life is her children with Dmitry, Maxim and Nina.

But most of all she likes to sing.

16-year-old Maxim became interested in music not so long ago, but he devotes almost all of his time to this. He plays keyboards, guitar and, of course, also sings. And he also tries to create music himself and complains that opera singing is not given to him.

Life goes on, and the amazing voice of Dmitry Hvorostovsky still sounds. He is desperately missed by those he loved so much.

All words about him are superlative. Best baritone, Siberian nugget, brilliant opera singer. Only now all this is in the past tense. Dmitry Hvorostovsky sang until the last day of his life. When he could not perform on stage, he sang at home. He enjoyed every moment that fate gave him. He played fair with life and remained the winner.
