What was once originally conceived as an ordinary average table looked, in principle, the same. But after the crowd of visitors at the exhibition in which this table participated, after many people armed with sandpaper and wiping all 50 different layers of paint on the table to the "holes", nothing remained of the boring gray table.
Ed swan (Ed Swan) - the man who invented Mark Makers Table for the exhibition Okay Studio " The visitor"in London. The final version of the table's appearance (well, more precisely, how final it can be without erasing all the layers of paint cleanly) resembles a mood stone or some kind of iridescent crystal.
"The visitor"(Visitor) is a conceptual exhibition in which every visitor takes part. Everyone who comes in to look around takes sandpaper and scrapes off the table. Mark Makers Table a little top coat of paint. The result is a psychedelic drawing, unique in its kind, created by the joint efforts of folk art.
This wonderful table can be seen every day from 19 to 26 September 2010 from 12 am to 6 pm in the pavilions of the London Design Festival.
