Meredith Dittmar is an artist living and working in Portland, USA. Born near Boston, she grew up surrounded by domestic pigs, horses, hay fortresses and an atmosphere of spy games. Add to that a computer science education, a design career, and an overwhelming need for creativity, and you have the main ingredients of her personality and work.

Dittmar's energetic man-animal-plant combinations are composed of interweaving of elements and colors and thus, according to the author's intention, convey deep levels of interaction between biology, technology and consciousness. Meredith's images are often quite emotional, or, conversely, they lazily look at the viewer, as if inviting them to share their inner world. Dittmar is sure that we will find the same world inside ourselves and, plunging into it, we will be able to discover the interconnectedness of all things.
