Some two months separate the current year from the next year, and very soon the season of bright umbrellas and orange leaves will change the season of hats and Christmas trees, gifts and Olivier salad. However, neither this salad nor other traditional New Year's dishes had enough space in creative calendar from EIGA design and publisher NBVD (Norman Beckmann Verlag & Design) from Hamburg. This calendar looks like a decorative notebook entirely dedicated to food, and it is called " EAT! Design with Food". To make the art calendar as appetizing and original as possible, the publisher hired about fifty specialists to work on the project, including designers, artists, and architects. Their main task was to demonstrate them on the pages of" EAT! Design with Food "the most interesting inventions and ideas, one way or another related to drinks and food.
Therefore, leafing through this "appetizing" notebook, you can not only choke on saliva, considering the numbers of the days of the month, stylized as fruits and vegetables, pastries and meat dishes. But also to see the original packaging for sushi sets and lunches, unusual cups for coffee, creative juicers and a lot of other interesting and useful things, both edible and industrial design.
Not only do photographs, photomontages and illustrations draw attention in this truly amazing piece of art - custom design and experimental typography also play a central role in the "EAT! Design with Food" art calendar project. More than a hundred pages of creative, dozens of witty, and simply beautiful illustrations and photographs - all this will certainly be sold in a limited edition before the new year. Well, more information, as always, on the EIGA design website.

Cardboard food: neither eat nor bite
Do you think that bullying a person is about bringing home a big and tasty cake while someone in the household is on a diet in the hope of losing weight? What we eat, what we look at. Macro food by Caren Alpert
If you have ever tried to take a close-up photograph of a person, or some part of him, you could see from your own experience how these photographs differ from what we imagine and want to see. The skin is not so smooth and clean, the hairs on it are much thicker and thicker, and all the imperfections and unevenness of the skin are visible so that these photos can be called a dermatologist's dream. While macro photography of animals, insects and even invisible viruses and bacteria leads us to a state
