What men did nothing to understand the fair sex: they tried to look into their fragile soul, and they dedicated poems to them, and painted pictures dedicated to them. And women do not care! And then a strong part of humanity decided to resort to the latest achievements of humanity: photography and retouching! Did the lovely young ladies succumb to all these tricks? - a controversial question, but that they have borne excellent fruits - that's for sure. And the works of Konstantin Shamin are a perfect example of this.
Konstantin generally specializes in photographing beautiful young ladies. One of his latest ideas - 4 pictures depicting women of the elements: Fire, Water, Air and Earth, respectively. I don't even know what to say about originality (I somehow think that something like this has already happened, and I immediately remember a series of pictures where women symbolize 7 deadly sins, although this, of course, is a less flattering association for them), but people, professionally interested in photography, these works should be of interest.
The question is: why? And because the technique of execution is simply wonderful, skillfully and most importantly, the used retouching makes the pictures quite memorable. Surely, some teenage boy wants such a "element" to hang on the wall in his room. And almost certainly these pictures are perfect for decorating a cafe or bar. I would also like to highlight a series of works with a beautiful girl in the rye, as aptly noted
Konstantin in his live journal: “There is a small but picturesque field not far from me. With tall grass and morning sunshine. I had been looking closely at this field for a long time, but somehow I was not going to get out to the shooting. And then one fine morning everything worked out: field, grass, sun, frost and two beautiful models: Katya and Vika. We spent a little less than an hour on shooting, but just in time - the light was just gorgeous, saturated!"
Although there will certainly be originals that will say something like: "And my friend posted pictures in contact, he has them even better." Well, perhaps it is worth congratulating such a person, because it means that he is familiar with a very, very talented photographer, as well as advise not to be greedy and share the talent of your friend with the readers of "Cultural Studies" by writing an article on this wonderful site!
