In childhood, all boys dream of becoming astronauts, and girls imagine themselves as singers or actresses. But the children who go to the most unusual kindergarten in the world in the Georgian city of Rustavi all dream of connecting their future life with the sky: there are all growing up pilots and flight attendants. Why is that? Gary Shapidze equipped a unique kindergarten … on board the decommissioned Yak-42 aircraft.
The plane, on board of which the kids live today, was until recently the property of Georgian Airways. It was bought by the director of the kindergarten, Gary Shapidze, who came up with the idea to organize such an unusual preschool educational institution. Of course, the interior of the plane was partially refurbished, there were tables for classes and a lot of toys, but the keypad in the cockpit remained intact! And what could be more entertaining for children than to be in a real cockpit, where you can count more than one and a half thousand buttons.
At the same time, 15 children can be on board the aircraft, in addition to the keypad, all kinds of levers and switches are also preserved, which contributes to the development of fine motor skills in young pilots. It took Shapidze several months to fully equip the plane, but his work was justified: the kindergarten was liked not only by young visitors, but also by their parents.
Gary Shapidze is very glad that he managed to realize his bold idea. He notes that the process of adaptation to a new group is often quite difficult for children, however, the unusual design and the atmosphere of the holiday prevailing here will help to overcome many psychological problems.
By the way, on our website Kulturologiya.ru we have repeatedly talked about the fate of our planes flying off. For example, the giants of the Second World War, thanks to talented artists, turned into examples of modern painting in the Art From The Boneyard project, formidable fighters became harmless exhibits in Fiona Banner's installations, and the Airbus A380 passenger plane was completely retrained into a cozy restaurant!

Why the Soviet "stealth aircraft", which appeared in 1936, were not used during the Great Patriotic War
With the development of aviation, due to the constant military-political tension between the major world powers, the idea arose to develop an "invisible" aircraft. He would allow him to have an advantage in the sky, and in the event of a local conflict, without revealing himself, he could easily hit ground and air targets. The pioneer in this area was the Soviet Union, which in 1936 created an experimental aircraft capable of "dissolving" in the sky
5 mysterious cases of aircraft disappearing under the clouds, which have not yet been explained
Modern radar systems tirelessly monitor the movement of aircraft in the sky, it seems, leaving them no chance of mysterious disappearance. However, over the past few decades, there have been situations when aircraft disappeared from radars without a trace. Truth and fiction about the "death match" - a football battle between Soviet athletes and fascist anti-aircraft gunners
The Great Patriotic War is remembered for many grandiose battles in which Soviet soldiers defended the independence of their Motherland. But in the history of confrontations between the USSR and Nazi Germany, there is one unique battle that took place not on the battlefield, but on the football field. This is a match between the Ukrainian team "Start" and the German anti-aircraft gunners "Flakelf", later called the "death match". The event took place in August 1942 in occupied Kiev and over time it was overgrown with fictions and legends

The opinions of teachers and parents on education issues can differ significantly. But on one thing they are unanimous: children must be involved in applied art. Fortunately, modern stores are inundated with goods for children's creativity. It can be either a traditional construction set or a paper modeling kit. Such a pastime not only develops people, but can also serve as a good hobby. For example, Luca Iaconi-Stewart has been creating a paper reproduction of the Bo plane for 5 long years
