Barbie dolls are an integral part of the life of little girls, and as adults, now women remember how they loved to dress up blonde beauties in pink dresses. But American Margaux Lange has gone beyond mere memories. Thanks to her bright and non-standard imagination, she creates unique jewelry using doll parts for them!
Margot creates original necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets and other accessories from silver and doll parts. Broken or broken dolls, as a rule, do not look very pleasant and can hardly evoke positive emotions. But Margot Lange's jewelry is so unusual that it is rather difficult to associate them with the appearance of plastic princesses. “Barbie dolls have played a fundamental role in shaping my creative career. An immeasurably valuable tool for developing my imagination as a child, Barbie, ironically, has continued to be so in adulthood."
You can love or despise a Barbie doll, but there are few people who are completely indifferent to it. Margot Lange herself undoubtedly refers to those who admire the toy beauty: "She is a cultural icon that has a huge impact on our society."
Margot has always had an interest in Barbie. Performing creative work during her studies, the girl painted the bodies of dolls, doing a kind of body art, portrayed Barbie in paintings … In parallel with this, since high school, Margot Lange showed interest in creating jewelry and completed many different courses on this topic. Not surprisingly, sooner or later, two great passions had to intersect, giving rise to a new occupation.
Margot takes pleasure in the fact that in her hands the doll itself becomes an ornament instead of decorating it. “I love the realization that mass products are transformed and recreated in handcrafted and wearable pieces,” she says.

Why the Barbie doll divorced Ken, and then returned to him again
Calling her just a doll doesn’t dare. Barbie immediately became popular and in demand, and during her existence she had a plastic family, home, spouse, children, friends, and various professions. However, the world of pink plastic is forced to react to all changes in the real world, since the Barbie doll has too much of a serious influence on the minds of the younger generation, so serious that toy manufacturers are now and then criticized, and their doll is still being bought up all new

Soft doll angels Tilda. Mimidolls by Gloria "Mimi" Winer
They say that on one shoulder of each of us sits an angel, and on the other - the devil. And both whisper different thoughts into a person's ears, push them to different deeds - one to good and noble, the other to mean and evil. Which "shoulder" you listen to, which voice will sound louder in your head, so you will be. Apparently, wanting to strengthen the positive, to increase the angel's chances of winning, the American artist Gloria Winer, known under the pseudonym Mimi, has been working on her own for many years
