The porcelain house was opened to visitors on September 2, 2007, in the Heping district of Tianjinon province. The building was built in the old French style and has a history of over 100 years. The building originally housed the Central Ministry of Finance of the Qing Dynasty, later in 1949 it was transformed into a bank. The bank soon changed its location and the beautiful building remained deserted for several years, until the porcelain collector Lianzhi bought it for 1 million yuan. In four years he managed to turn the building into a unique structure decorated with porcelain. Today Yuebao House is one of the central attractions in China.

Zhang is a successful businessman with an interest in art and culture. Perhaps the most impressive exhibit in the house is the four Chinese dragons that coiled around the outer wall of the building. Each dragon figurine is over 200 meters long and symbolizes the strength of ancient China. In addition, part of the ceiling, railings and doors are decorated with porcelain.
