The Olympic Games are not only a celebration of sports, but also a place where thousands of photographers, both professionals and amateurs, take millions of photos. Not all of them turn out the way those who made them would like. But some photos can be safely printed and hung in a frame on the wall - these are real photo masterpieces.
The Vancouver Winter Olympics are drawing to a close. In a couple of days, the closing ceremony of this main winter sports tournament of the four-year period will take place. And already now it is possible to sum up some results of the past Games, both sports and art.
And, if in sports not all participants in the Olympics were able to win awards, and not even everyone had a chance for that, then almost every athlete could take his rightful place in art. At least as a model for thousands and thousands of photographers filming these competitions.
The Olympic Games will end soon, but we will be able to admire their most interesting and lively moments for many, many years to come.
