Perhaps you remember the story of project manager Marc Cameron and photographer Mark Brown, who created images of legendary cars in light graffiti style? Project Light Graffiti Cars Project proved to be successful, and experiments with photography and light fascinated the authors so much that they decided to continue their collaboration. Images of celebrities were chosen as the theme for the new project.
The brightest celebrities in Great Britain were to become the heroes of the future graffiti. One can argue with their choice, but the authors settled on the following candidates: singer Lady Gaga, racer Lewis Hamilton, rapper Dizzy Rascal, politicians Nick Clagg, David Cameron and Gordon Brown, as well as the immortal Elvis Presley.
Perhaps someone will consider the portraits not too similar, but you must agree: drawing with a light source in the dark is more difficult than drawing with a pencil on paper. The authors keep the technique of creating images a secret, mentioning only "a combination of long exposure and light trails."
What else can be done using the light graffiti technique can be seen here.
