But even if we do not know anything about California, photographs of California native Alex Prager will be interesting to everyone, because in them he captures girls in different situations in a very stylish manner, sending us back to the recent past and at the same time singing a small piece of life in his sunny state.
The recent past (mid-late 20th century) permeates these wonderful works by Alex (made, by the way, in different years and included in different cycles), especially in the hairstyles of the girls he photographs and in the style of clothing. Well, the general entourage is a kind of California atmosphere, which, looking at the pictures, you want to feel on yourself.
Unfortunately, the biography facts of this pretty girl, who portrayed her native California in a retro style, are limited to information about awards, exhibitions and publications. She, meanwhile, has been exhibiting successfully for a long time. Alex's hometown is Los Angeles. There she was born, there she lives and works now.
Praiger has published two books - in 2005, The Book of Concern. The Story of the Seven Deadly Sins”, the second, called“Polyether”, was released in 2007.
Vintage photos have appeared quite often lately, and almost all projects are worthy of attention - for example, advertising photos of Julia Galdo depicting the 80s.
