In Argentina, there is a design studio Normal ™, whose main principle is to find beauty in everyday things and turn them into something completely different from what they really are. In the latest project "Tender", such things are ordinary clothespins, the installations of which simply amaze the imagination.
“Our idea was to take an ordinary object - such as a clothespin - and, by repeating it many times, create a new surface that would change the logical image of the original object. When we placed a lot of clothespins on a stretched net, it sagged under their weight - and we got a new surface known as a hyperbolic paraboloid,”says project author Martin Huberman.
Martin Huberman notes that Tender is a very specific installation, depending on where it is located. Each room has its own personality: the color of the walls, dimensions, ceiling height, and so on. Depending on this, the installation placed in it will be perceived differently. In addition, depending on the characteristics of the room, the color in which the clothespins are painted is also selected.
The first clothespin installation was very simple and was created for one of the modeling agencies. The composition was supposed to last one night while the event lasted, but the customers did not shoot it for a whole year - until it was sold to a Dutch collector. After that, an order was received from representatives of a local chain of clothing stores who wanted to decorate their boutiques with installations from clothespins. This is how the Love Me Tender series appeared, which includes three installations.
Martin Huberman, an architect by trade, is the founder of Normal ™. He is only 27 years old, so there is no doubt that we will hear more than once about this talented author and his works.

What happened to the 11 most successful domestic boy bands from the 1990s: "Tender May", "Hands Up!"
Despite the fact that the term "boy band" is clearly foreign, the phenomenon itself can not be called purely American, because we also have something to cover - the first boy bands were created in the Soviet Union and were wildly popular. Their creators acted on intuition and were the founders of this musical movement in Russia and the CIS countries, taking into account the mentality and other features of culture
