Larisa studied with a vocal teacher and after the 8th grade she entered the music school. True, at first this had to be hidden from his father - he was a military man and extremely disapproving of such "frivolous" hobbies. However, she never became an opera singer - she considered that she was not singing well enough.

The father insisted that after school, his daughter entered the Faculty of Biology. Larisa even started attending preparatory courses, but again did it in her own way: she became a student at GITIS, choosing the faculty of musical comedy. The father was still not aware of anything, and when the secret was revealed, a scandal erupted. Golubkina even thought about leaving the institute, but then she was offered a role in the "Hussar Ballad", which forever changed her life.

Dozens of actresses applied for this role, but Eldar Ryazanov chose Larisa Golubkina.
