In the very center of prim London in front of Parliament, a flock of funny colorful lambs is located. This is an exhibition of figurines Shaun the Lamb (Shaun the Sheep), one of the popular cartoon characters in the UK. The proceeds from the sale of these figurines will help save the lives and health of seriously ill children.
The project was named "Sean in the City" ("Shaun In The City"). Colorful lambs "graze" in the main squares of London and Bristol. A total of 120 statuettes were created, according to the number of episodes in the children's series. It turned out to be difficult to find a place for all the "Shons" at once, so it was decided to exhibit six figures in each city, which will change for others on weekends. After the "release" of the lambs it will be possible to buy, and the proceeds from the sale will go to the treatment of seriously ill children in Britain.
Figures of Shaun the Sheep were painted by famous designers, artists and simply creative people of Britain. Last year, a similar project, "Gromit Unleashed", was attended by over a million people. An auction to sell painted Gromit figures raised over £ 2 million for the Children's Hospital in Bristol.
The capital of Britain regularly hosts various events aimed at raising funds for charity. So, a few years ago in the center of London was installed huge coin, where everyone could leave their message to the world.
