A talented sculptor and master of eccentric performance, Pravdolyub Ivanov was born in 1964 in Plovdiv, and lives and works in Sofia, being an assistant professor at the National Academy of Fine Arts and a member of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Bulgaria. Funny, sometimes ridiculous, but with a philosophical overtones, sculptures by Pravdolyub Ivanov, such as "Monument to the Unknown Washerwoman", are a vivid evidence of his subtle sense of humor, satirical perception of the world, non-standard and original expression of his creative ideas.
