The result was not long in coming - the girl was diagnosed with a stomach ailment, so Oksana spent a good part of her childhood in hospitals and sanatoriums.

One day her friends were dragged to a theater group. There was a cozy home atmosphere, and relations with other participants and the leader were warm and friendly. Therefore, young Oksana, who did not have a special passion for theatrical art, lingered in it. And again a miracle - once the production of the circle was watched by the director Leonid Belozorovich. For his debut picture, a girl was required for the role of a schoolgirl, and Oksana was invited to audition. As the actress later recalled, at the casting it became clear that she did not have any acting skills, but she had her own thick braid below the priests. And they took her.
