Her unique voice in 4, 5 octaves has long won the hearts of millions of listeners around the world. Her incredible hard work and perseverance from childhood helped her rightfully win the status of the Diva of the domestic show business. For many years, Ani has worked hard on her appearance, voice, style to become what she is now.

Glory and fans, full halls around the world, all this was destined for her by fate itself. Thanks to her talent and striking appearance, the singer has been on TV screens and on the covers of glossy magazines for more than a quarter of a century. During her musical career, she has released dozens of singles and albums, more than once received the status of "gold" and "platinum".

Recall that Ani Lorak received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine in 1999. Moreover, the rising star at that time was the youngest singer in the country to receive this high title. But the world fame was brought to her by her performance at Eurovision-2008 with the song “Shady Lady” in Belgrade. The singer took 2nd place, losing the first place to Dima Bilan. How it all began

Ani Lorak's biography is a modern fairy tale about Cinderella, in which a "boarding school" girl from a small Ukrainian town, who has absolutely nothing behind her soul except talent and a great desire to sing, achieved the heights of the musical Olympus and world recognition.

Karolina Kuek, who later became known as Ani Lorak, was born on September 27, 1978 in a creative family in the small town of Kitsman in the Chernivtsi region. Father - Miroslav Ivanovich - Honored Journalist of Ukraine, poet. Mother - Zhanna Vasilievna worked as an announcer on the regional radio and television. Caroline had three brothers. The eldest, Sergei, from his mother's first marriage, to some extent replaced Caroline's father, who left the family even before her birth. The guy sang well and played the guitar. It was he who first discerned the vocal talent of the little sister and insisted that she must develop it. He wrote about this in every letter from Afgan, from where he never returned. His death was a terrible tragedy for 9-year-old Carolina. She understood from childhood that there is nothing more valuable than human life and that there is nothing more terrible than war.

Boarding

To say that the future star's childhood was difficult and not always well-fed is to say nothing. Zhanna Vasilievna, left after a divorce with three children in her arms, moved to Chernivtsi, where she was offered a job on television. The mother was fanatically devoted to the profession and could not refuse such an opportunity. But, on a small salary of an announcer, it was almost impossible for the four of us to survive. And the woman was forced to hand over the smaller children to a kindergarten for five days, and the older one to a boarding school. But soon the younger ones also moved there, where the state provided the children with clothes and food.

Mom tried to arrange a personal life, but all that came out of this relationship was a replenishment in the family. In 1985, the fourth child was born, part of the worries about which fell on the shoulders of Carolina. In those days, when the girl was at home, she washed diapers, swaddled her brother, fed him, took him for a walk.

At the boarding school, Karolina was brought up until the seventh grade, and then she herself went to the director of the boarding school, took the documents and transferred to a secondary school closer to home. Unfortunately, after the transfer, the girl's life did not become easier. The family still had no money for even the most basic. She had to carry school textbooks in a plastic bag instead of a briefcase and until the end of her studies she heard the offensive "boarding school" from her classmates. A difficult childhood and adolescence made Carolina grow up quickly and understand that in life you need to do everything possible to succeed in your favorite business.

On the way to your dream

From the age of 4, Carolina showed incredible artistry, sang at concerts in kindergarten, then began to study in a pop studio, and later took part in all kinds of vocal competitions. At the age of 13, she started making her first money from her performances. In 1991, at the festival “Primrose” in Chernivtsi, Karolina met the producer Yuriy Falyosa. And the first professional contract with him for her daughter was signed by Karolina's mother - Zhanna Vasilievna.

The first love

Since then, the producer and the singer have not parted for about 10 years. Yuri Dmitrievich became a teacher, composer, mentor and family member for the girl, replacing her father and older brother. In 1995, Carolina won the Morning Star with the song by Falyos. At this competition, Yuri Nikolaev advised the young artist to change her name - they say, the singer Karolina is already there. And then Falesa and his ward turned the name "Carolina" upside down, dividing the resulting word into two parts. It is under this name that the public has known Carolina for almost three decades.

Karolina and Yuri Falyosa spent more and more time together and did not notice how their relationship turned from workers into a romantic one. The producer began to show her attention as a girl, and Carolina realized that she had fallen in love. Their romance developed rapidly. Soon, the producer left his wife and two children and left with the future star to Kiev, becoming her common-law husband. After the video “I'll be back,” the talented 19-year-old girl literally took off on the musical Olympus, and soon received the title of Honored Artist. And this is all thanks to his "Pygmalion" - Yuri Dmitrievich, who was there all the time.

But it was time to grow up, and Carolina began to rethink this relationship. Rumors about her affair with a famous football player began to leak into the press. These rumors destroyed her relationship with Thalesa. In 2004, the creative and personal union of the singer and producer ended. They parted, maintaining friendly relations.

Marriage. The birth of a daughter

On August 15, 2009, Ani married a Turkish businessman Murat Nalchadzhioglu, whom she met in 2005 on vacation in Antalya. On June 9, 2011, the couple had a daughter, Sofia. On April 7, 2012, the girl was baptized in Kiev, and Philip Kirkorov became her godfather. During their life together, the couple managed to acquire expensive housing in Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. However, 10 years later, Ani broke up with Murat. In the yellow press, they began to talk about her husband's betrayal with the participant of the Miss Ukraine Universe-2018 contest Yana Belyaeva. Of course, there is no smoke without fire. On January 31, 2019, Ani Lorak and Murat Nalchadzhioglu officially divorced.

New love

After the divorce, the star met the producer of the Black Star label Yegor Gleb, who is 14 years younger than Lorak. The age difference did not stop the couple from starting a relationship. Ani says in an interview that she is trying to spend all her free time with Yegor:

In 2008, FHM magazine included Ani in the top 100 sexiest women in the world. She is also the face of the cosmetics firm Schwarzkopf & Henkel in Ukraine, the Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame and the travel agency TurTess Travel.

The singer has two great shows: "Carolina" (2013) and "DIVA" (2018), 16 albums, a biographical video, more than 50 video clips, as well as a large number of "gold" and "platinum" discs. During her creative career, Ani Lorak won many awards and prizes: "Best Singer", "Person of the Year", "Most Beautiful Woman", "Fashion Singer", "Song of the Year", "Best Concert Show", "Golden Gramophone", MUZTV, RU. TV, ZHARA, Higher League, BraVo, EMA and others. Her concerts are held with great success at the most famous concert venues in Europe, Asia, the USA and Canada.

Separately, I would like to say a few words about the grandiose fantastic music show "DIVA" presented by Ani Lorak at the Olympic Sports Complex in Moscow at the beginning of 2018. A team of 250 people worked on this project, in which the singer told the viewer about her life in songs. Ani alone changed more than a dozen costumes. Pyrotechnics, incredible lighting, rich decorations, a Phoenix bird, flying chandeliers, a crystal bath - all this literally eclipsed Lorak with her live performance of songs, dancing on high heels, and stunts that she performed without belay. Fatal 2013

So what happened when, overnight, part of the fans of Ukraine turned away from the singer? … October 2013. Kiev Sports Palace. Ten thousand spectators. People's Artist, one of the most beautiful women in the country, Ani Lorak, celebrates her 20th anniversary on stage in the light of spotlights. She is still idolized by millions of compatriots, admired and applauded while standing. But already in December, her fans will literally split into two hostile camps. The end of 2013 will divide the life of Ani Lorak into "before" and "after", making global adjustments to her life. And it all started with the call of the Russian composer Igor Krutoy, with whom the singer worked closely in Moscow at that time. This phrase literally the next day was attributed by journalists to Ani Lorak. And the whole Internet was literally full of comments, like:

And no matter how Ani Lorak tried to convey to people that she was out of politics, that she would never call for war, that the war took her closest person from her, no one listened to her anymore. And when in June 2014 the singer went to Moscow to receive the Ru.tv award, the Ukrainians immediately declared the singer a traitor. A flurry of indignation fell on her, and the country was swept by a wave of discussions about her act.

Part of the Ukrainian public vehemently accused the star of treason, and the second part of it literally fought its way to her concerts to support her beloved singer and pay tribute. Now Ani Lorak has everything she dreamed of as a child. It seemed that you can rest on your laurels, but the singer continues to conquer new heights. Recently, a video directed by Alexander Kuraksin was released, where a celebrity tried on an unexpected image. Singer Ani Lorak, who has been living in Moscow since 2014 and does not perform in Ukraine, suddenly arrived in Kiev in January of this year. And soon upon arrival, she went to a beauty salon and radically changed her appearance, and posted the photo on Instagram.

And finally, I would like to note that in the near future the star is planning a grand tour of the cities of Ukraine. The reaction of the Ukrainian public, in truth, to such a statement is ambiguous. Some were delighted, while others were not very … It is a pity that many of the singer's compatriots do not accept that art should exist outside of politics. It should bring joy and aesthetic satisfaction, and not call for enmity.
