You can often hear the opinion that creative people are constantly on the verge of real and fictional worlds, and this trait can be so subtle that once you stumble, madness cannot be avoided. After all, often the price for talent and success is too high. You don't have to go far for examples. Among the Soviet actresses treated kindly by fate, there are those whose mental strength was undermined, and they ended their lives in hospitals for psychiatric patients.

Tatiana Peltzer

The audience does not remember Tatyana Peltzer when she is young, because fame came to the actress when she was already under 50. Since then, the talented artist began to be considered the "main grandmother" of the Soviet screen, and the roles fell like a cornucopia.

But in the 80s, Tatyana suddenly began to lose her memory. As it turned out, the actress had progressive Alzheimer's disease. Peltzer hardly recognized her relatives and colleagues, but continued to appear on the stage of her native Lenkom: Alexander Abdulov spoke her lines together. And the audience certainly met and saw off the star with thunderous applause.

The actress spent the last years of her life in a psychiatric hospital, and to the performances she was taken from there and brought back. But once colleagues saw scratches on Peltzer's face, and bruises and bruises on his body. According to the official version, Tatiana fell. Although, according to witnesses, the artist was beaten by patients who did not like that she behaved like a lady. At the end of her days, the star of the Soviet screen recognized only her housekeeper, whom she thanked for her love and devotion by copying all her property to her.

Donara Mkrtchyan

Donara Pilosyan became the second wife of the famous actor Frunzik Mkrtchyan. Moreover, the couple was not only together in life, but also at work. For example, in "Prisoner of the Caucasus" the actor played Dzhabrail, and his real wife embodied the image on the screen.

Soon, children appeared in the family: daughter Nune and son Vazgen. And then everything suddenly changed dramatically: Donara for no reason began to be jealous of the chosen one, often made scandals, accompanied him on tour, sent him to spend the night on the street, broke all the dishes in the house … Frunzik at first tried to talk to his wife, reassured, explained that he loved only her … But nothing helped, and Mkrtchyan, who even before that was breathing unevenly for alcohol, began to drink more and instead of going home, he preferred to wander the streets alone.

Once the actor still managed to persuade his wife to appear to a psychiatrist, who made a disappointing diagnosis: schizophrenia. The man did not give up: he took his beloved to the best specialists of not only domestic medicine, but also foreign medicine. Alas, nothing helped, and when Donara stopped recognizing her relatives, Frunzik was forced to agree to place her for treatment in one of the French psychiatric clinics.

The man was left alone with the children, but when his son developed similar behavioral deviations, the actor immediately guessed what was the matter. As it turned out, the mother's illness was inherited by the child. After this news, the actor could not recover and started drinking even harder. Vazgen ended up in the same clinic as Donara. But close people, even colliding in the corridors of the hospital, did not recognize each other and passed by. However, the moments of clarification for the actress nevertheless came, and she sincerely did not understand why she was isolated from the whole world and even organized a theater group in the institution. Mkrtchyan never left the clinic, having died there at the age of 70.

Viju Artmane is rightfully called the best Latvian actress of all time, but after the collapse of the USSR, many trials fell to the star.

The authorities took away the apartment in which she lived for 40 years from the actress, and gave it to those to whom she belonged before the establishment of Soviet power in the country. But in return, the star was provided with other housing, but what happened to him became unknown. Perhaps he was sold by his son Artmane. Be that as it may, Vie had to live in his daughter's small dacha, forty kilometers from Riga.

In addition, the actress in the last years of her life was sick a lot: she suffered a stroke and two heart attacks, suffered from unbearable pain in her legs. But her son again stabbed her in the back and sent her to a psychiatric hospital. Viya stayed there until the end of her days and died at the age of 80.

Natalia Bogunova

Oddly enough, after the success of the film "Big Change", in which Natalia Bogunova played one of the main roles, the actress's popularity declined: until the end of the 70s, only four films with her participation were released, and in the next decade - in two. The woman was also unlucky in her personal life: the marriage with the director Alexander Stefanovich ended in divorce.

Among other things, health problems also made themselves felt. For the first time, the actress was taken to a psychiatric hospital directly from the theater in the late 70s and was given a disappointing diagnosis of schizophrenia. Since then, Natalia has become a frequent guest in institutions where people with mental disabilities were treated.

In the late 80s, Bogunova left the Mossovet Theater, stopped acting in films. She had no close friends, so few people knew how and how the former Soviet star lives. In the last years of her life, Natalia practically did not leave the hospital, but in the summer of 2013 she decided to go on vacation to the island of Crete. But the hotel staff, worried about the strange behavior of the guest, called the police and doctors. The actress refused hospitalization, and she had to be sent to the clinic forcibly. On the same day, Bogunova died of a heart attack. She was 65 years old.

Tatiana Gavrilova

Tatyana Gavrilova great success was brought by the film "Kalina Krasnaya", in which a spectacular blonde played the criminal Lucien. But already during the filming, as colleagues recalled, the actress drank a lot, and Vasily Shukshin was repeatedly asked to replace her. The director decided to leave everything as it is.

Over the years, the artist's alcohol dependence increased more and more and negatively affected her appearance. Job offers began to come in less and less, and over time they disappeared altogether. The last time viewers saw Gavrilova on the screen was in 1997 in the program "To Remember." Tatiana ended up in a mental hospital, but it was already difficult to recognize a woman who once broke men's hearts: she lost her teeth and hair, could not move independently and lost her speech. Gavrilova died at 61 from a heart attack.
