Norma's husband, Leo, passed away last summer, and soon after that loss, Norma herself was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors suggested that Norma undergo chemotherapy, but the woman flatly refused. She is already 90 years old, and the woman decided to live out her days not in a hospital bed, but on a desperate journey.
“Yes, I'm 90 years old and I live traveling the country,” says Norma. And she truly spends all of her time driving from city to city, more than ever before in her life. Norma is accompanied by her son Tim and his wife, Rami. The three of them visit the most diverse sights of America, and do not intend to stop anywhere. They even run a Facebook page called Driving Miss Norma, where they post photos from their epic journey.
After Norma buried her husband, she was diagnosed with cancer, and almost immediately went on a journey. That was in August 2015, and now, six months later, Norma is still traveling the country. She visited Mount Rushmore, on which the faces of American presidents are carved, and visited the famous Yellowstone National Park, distinguished by its unique nature. The norm does not deny herself anything - she eats sweet and unhealthy things, strokes dangerous animals, rises high into the air in a balloon and leads the yacht across the sea by herself. Norma was determined to enjoy life to the fullest. In the end, when, if not at the age of 90, now no excuses can explain why you did not do something that you always wanted. When a woman is asked what the secret of her optimism is, she replies: "I just live every day and move forward."
