They started talking about this course right away. All the students were bright and talented, they were promised a great future. They entered VGIK in 1950, passed a competition of 200 people for a place, and after graduation, many became movie stars of the first magnitude. However, after a while, talented actors began to disappear from the screens and theatrical stage. The lives of the five most talented and brilliant graduates ended in tragedy.
Izolda Izvitskaya
From the first year she began to meet with Radnero Muratov, who was already graduating from the institute. After graduation, the actress, while working on the film "First Echelon", met Eduard Bredun and returned from filming already in the status of his official wife.
After the release of the picture "Forty-first" Izolda Izvitskaya became a star. After that, there were many more wonderful roles in her biography. She starred with the best directors, the audience applauded her not only in the Soviet Union, but also abroad. She seemed doomed to be happy. And there was no happiness. She could not become a mother, and her husband, jealous of her fame and success, did not provide her with any support. In the early 1960s, the actress began to rarely appear on the screens. The feeling of uselessness did not leave the young woman. Gradually, the actress became addicted to drinking, they completely stopped inviting her to the cinema, and in January 1971 her husband left her. In February 1971, the actress died.
She was only 38 years old when the body of a Soviet cinema star was found in her apartment a few days after her death.

Yuri Belov
A year after graduation, Yuri Belov woke up famous: the film "Carnival Night" was released. After that, there was a whole series of excellent films in which Belov starred. He was in love with Nadezhda Rumyantseva, and she reciprocated. True, later the girl was carried away by another, and the actor could not come to his senses for a long time after parting.
The directors vied with each other to invite Yuri to their pictures, and suddenly everything was over in an instant. At a party in the 1960s, he dropped a careless phrase about the country's leadership. And after a few days he was hid in a psychiatric hospital. After being discharged to the cinema, they almost stopped inviting him, the label of an unhealthy person firmly stuck to him. Eldar Ryazanov tried to break the vicious circle by inviting the actor to the filming of "Old Men-Robbers". However, afterwards he honestly said: he would not work with him anymore. The rest of the actors avoided Belov, making claims to the director.
At the end of his life, the talented actor was in great need, earned money as a private driver, began to abuse alcohol. After drinking, he became aggressive, once he scared his wife very much, grabbing a knife. Left on the morning of December 31, 1991 as a result of a heart attack while watching the movie "Carnival Night".
Rufina Nifontova
Two years after the actress graduated from VGIK, she was invited to play the role of Katya in the trilogy "Walking in Pain". Rufina played it as if she herself lived the life of her heroine. Her performance did not allow the viewer to doubt what was happening on the screen. It seemed that Rufina was simply doomed to a brilliant career. However, everything in her life turned out not at all the way she imagined it herself.
She was a strong personality and always spoke the truth to her face. Working since 1957 in the troupe of the Maly Theater, Rufina Nifontova was ready to take on the most difficult roles, but she never knew how to weave intrigues and intrigue to get this very role. When she realized that there were no more roles for her, she left the theater. She was engaged in a dacha, was tormented by the realization of her own lack of demand. But at the same time, she did not give up, fought, as best she could, with life's difficulties.
On that fateful day, November 27, 1994, she returned from the dacha chilled, opened hot water to take a bath and warm up. Suddenly the actress became ill, she lost consciousness and fell into boiling water … Rufina Nifontova was buried with a thick dark veil on her face.
Leonid Parkhomenko
He had a brilliant film debut. Ivan Pyriev himself invited an unknown actor to his film "The Idiot" based on Dostoevsky for the role of Parfen Rogozhin. After the release of the film, everyone started talking about Parkhomenko's incredible talent. The Idiot was followed by the role of Krasilnikov in Walking Through the Torment, then he starred in the film The Foal based on Sholokhov. It seemed that his career was just beginning.
But for such a powerful and bright talent that the actor possessed, there were no more significant roles. The directors offered him small roles. And the actor began to fill the void of life with booze. Increasingly, he was seen sleeping by the railroad station fence, where in January 1975 he was found frozen.
Maya Bulgakova
She was one of the most talented students in the course. However, subsequently, she was extremely rarely invited to the main roles. But she skillfully created unforgettable images even in episodes, and therefore the audience knew and loved Maya Bulgakova. The main role in the film "Wings" by Larisa Shepitko only added to the actress's popularity.
On October 1, 1994, a car that was carrying Maya Bulgakova and Lyudmila Sokolova to an event with their participation crashed into a post. Maya Bulgakova died in hospital from her injuries.

Fatal course or tragedies of individual actors?
Today they talk about the tragedy of the whole course of VGIK. Having traced the fate of all the graduates of 1955, we can say that their lives were, perhaps, not as brilliant as they would have liked, but quite well.
Nadezhda Rumyantseva, Valentina Vladimirova and Tatyana Konyukhova made an excellent career in cinema, Valentina Berezutskaya came to fame at the age of 70 after filming the film "Old Women", but even before that she often starred.
Artur Nishchenkin started out as a film actor's theater studio, later transferred to the Gorky Film Studio, where he worked for over 40 years, not only acting in films, but also dubbing. Gennady Yukhtin, Valentin Bryleev, Marina Kremneva, Margarita Krinitsyna may not have been as famous as their classmates, but they acted in films, played in the theater, and built their personal lives.
Probably, it still makes sense to talk about the tragedy not of the whole course, but of individuals who were too acutely worried about their lack of demand in the profession?
It seems that the stars have absolutely everything for happiness: fame, wealth, fans. However, creative people who are constantly under scrutiny from viewers and the press are too often depressed. They are dissatisfied with themselves, lose their meaning in life, feel lonely in the crowd. commit suicide.
