Kelch mansion
Before the revolution, this house was owned by the daughter and heiress of the richest industrialist from Siberia, Varvara Kelkh. The building is located on Tchaikovsky Street.
The mansion was built in the Gothic style, its interior decoration is notable for pomp and an abundance of decorations, because the Kelch family did not spare money for interiors and even often used the services of the Faberge company.
Eight stained glass windows in the chic dining room amaze with their wealth and splendor. The stained glass windows were made in Riga, in the famous workshop of Ernst Tode.
Above the main staircase, illuminated by a chic chandelier, you can also see a stained-glass window - ceiling, which depicts a polychrome arabesque composition.
By the way, in 1941 a German bomb hit the building, but fortunately the stained glass windows survived.
Buck's apartment building
The apartment house of the publisher Julian Bak was built at the beginning of the last century. It is located on Kirochnaya street. This majestic building, designed in the style that is called the "third baroque", is famous for interesting corridors-galleries connecting the buildings, and also attracts with a facade with stucco and wrought-iron decor. Another highlight is the magnificent stained-glass windows in the front door. They were made by the M. Frank and Co. ".
Profitable house of the Chubakovs
The house was built in 1909-10 according to the project of Wilhelm van der Gucht in the Art Nouveau style. The building is located on the Petrogradskaya side. In the Soviet years, famous actors and poets lived and visited here.
Luxurious stained-glass windows can be seen in the front windows of this house, but they have survived only in fragments - most of them, alas, have been lost.
Khlebnikov's apartment building
Khlebnikov's apartment building in Vilensky Lane is known for its interesting front door, in which elements of Art Nouveau decor (tiles, stucco moldings, railings) are still preserved.
But, perhaps, the main treasure of this front room is the preserved three stained glass windows depicting flowers. They are unique. Presumably, the stained glass windows were custom made in Frank's workshop.
House of the insurance company "Russia"
This historic building was built as a tenement house - also before the revolution. You can see him on Bolshaya Morskaya. The building is designed in the Northern Art Nouveau style and is replete with interesting elements. By the way, the majolica images in this house were made by Nicholas Roerich. Old fireplaces are also interesting.

Palkin's tenement house
Another famous front door of St. Petersburg is located in the Palkin house on Rubinstein Street. In it you can see very bright, memorable stained glass windows depicting flowers.
