The youngest daughter of Nikita Mikhalkov has always had a hypertrophied sense of responsibility. She was acutely worried about even the thought of a possible failure or inconsistency with the expectations of others, and her own. Everyone called her marriage unequal, and later Nadezhda Mikhalkova had to deal with severe depression. However, she has her own recipe for happiness in solitude, which she gladly shares with everyone.

Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov treats all his children with tenderness, but Nadezhda, no doubt, is his favorite. Perhaps because he considers her the most similar to himself in character and attitude to life.

As a child, Nadezhda was not much different from her peers. She dreamed of not going to school for whatever reason, or the possibility of not doing her written homework because of a broken arm. In the kindergarten, she was going to become a tomato saleswoman, and in school - a teacher. And at the same time, she understood that she was inextricably linked with cinema. She began filming very early, and made her debut in her father's film "Burnt by the Sun". It was during the first filming, according to Nadezhda herself, that her childhood ended.

However, Nadezhda Mikhalkova never felt regret about this. She just clearly understood the inevitability of the presence of cinema in her life. True, she decided at the same time that she would study journalism. She was always attracted by the opportunity to study and learn something new.

As a result, she received a diploma in international journalism at Moscow State University, studied art history in Italy, and studied acting not only on the set, but also at special courses at VGIK, but learned directing and producing almost independently.

Unequal marriage

The cinema taught the actress independence and the ability to look at what was happening a little from the outside, and also presented a meeting with a man whose marriage was called unequal. Rezo Gigineishvili, during the filming of the series "Nine Months", completely subdued Nadezhda's older sister Anna with his directorial talent. It was she who invited Nadia to meet Rezo.

At first glance, he did not make such a strong impression on Nadezhda as on his sister. She found him too energetic and assertive, but the acquaintance took place, and since then, when they met, they exchanged greetings. Once the director decided to invite Nadezhda to the exhibition. True, on that day the museum was closed and, in fact, the date never took place.

From that day on, Rezo Gigineishvili began to look after Nadezhda, it took him several months to win the heart of Mikhalkov's youngest daughter. For the sake of Nadezhda, he divorced his first wife Anastasia Kochetova, and then went to meet future relatives. True, Nadezhda was much more worried that day than Rezo.

At that time, rumors were already circulating in the press that Nadezhda had taken Rezo out of the family, and Nikita Mikhalkov did not approve of Gigineishvili's candidacy as a husband for his favorite. But everything turned out to be simpler: Nadezhda Mikhalkova was not at all the initiator in the relationship, she was terribly annoyed by the publications in the media, which were false from start to finish, and the actress's dad treated her daughter's choice with respect.

The lovers played the wedding twice: a modest one during a wedding in Moscow and a wide one in Tbilisi after the wedding. Soon the daughter of the spouses, Nina, was born.

Depression

Nadezhda Mikhalkova admits: depression covered her even at the moment when her pregnancy became clearly visible. The changed figure and the inability to put on her favorite dress shocked Nadezhda. She suddenly realized that for the next few years she was going to spend at home in the company of a child. True, already before giving birth, all these thoughts left her, but after the birth of Nina, others appeared.

Nadezhda Mikhalkova remembers how in the maternity hospital she suddenly lost a tooth, the roots of her hair turned out to be long overgrown, and her mother, who came to visit her, drew her daughter's attention to the need to take care of herself. Then Nadezhda Mikhalkova almost gave up on her life. She presented herself as an unkempt housewife, all whose interests lie exclusively in the child.

The inability to leave the house because of the need to feed the baby oppressed Nadezhda. She did not feel any manifestation of maternal instinct, tried to come up with any reason to run away from home for a while, and at the same time felt guilty about not loving her daughter. Once she caught herself on the monstrous thought that the stroller could be released into the pond around which she was walking with her daughter.

At that moment, Nadezhda Mikhalkova realized: something abnormal was happening to her, and decided to ask her older sister for advice. Anna reassured her sister, was able to briefly explain the reasons for her postpartum depression and gave hope for a happy deliverance from her over time. After this conversation, Nadezhda understood the origins of her problems and ceased to be irritated and hysterical. And two years later, in May 2013, she gave birth to her second child - the son of Ivan.

The art of getting a divorce

Ivan was only four when Nadezhda Mikhalkova filed for divorce from Rezo Gigineishvili. She herself never spread about the reasons that led to the collapse of the family. But it was after parting with her husband that she began to express the opinion that the institution of the family ceased to be as significant and important as it was with her parents in Soviet times. Outside of marriage, according to Nadezhda Mikhalkova, a person gets the opportunity to live for himself, to be in comfort with himself and at the same time not need someone else's approval and love. The actress sees this as the highest degree of personal freedom.

The actress and director have their own recipe for "proper divorce." At that difficult time, when the process of parting with her husband was not the easiest for her, she set herself a goal: to save her father for the children. Nadezhda did not follow her own ambitions and complexes, she took patience and, gathering her will into a fist, tried to do everything in her power so that the children continued to love and respect dad, no matter what. And now she proudly says that her children have both mom and dad.

Three years have passed since the divorce, and Nadezhda Mikhalkova devotes all this time to children and work. She loves to spend time alone, and to noisy parties she prefers evenings with family or friends, enjoys spending time outside the city, is frightened by the prospect of performing in a large audience and can afford to eat chocolate at night.

She always smiles in the morning and sees this habit as a guarantee of good mood and efficiency. Nadezhda Mikhalkova does not understand the mass enthusiasm for personal growth trainings and considers the hypertrophied sense of responsibility, from which she herself suffered in her time, not the best assistant on the way to success. She knows how to be herself and, as Nikita Mikhalkov says, she lives as it is convenient for her, contrary to all stereotypes and public opinion.

The eldest daughter of Nikita Mikhalkov is today one of the most popular and sought-after actresses. Anna Mikhalkova does her best during filming and never plays outside the set. She does not consider herself a person of passions, but changes in her life are unexpected even for herself.
