Mark Brian is the most ordinary man who has a wife and three wonderful children: a son and two daughters. He is 61 years old and American, living in Germany, working as a robotics engineer and coaching a football team in a small town near Schwäbisch Hall. The only thing that sets him apart from other men is his clothes. Mark Brian wears stiletto heels and adores tight skirts, it is in this form that he goes to work and workouts and assures: clothes and shoes make him feel stronger.
Clothes have no gender
Mark Brian's interest in high heels arose more than 40 years ago when he began dating a girl the same height as himself. In college, he wore high heels to a dance party for the first time, and suddenly realized he loved it. And so his experiments began. A year later, Mark broke up with his girlfriend, but he did not stop wearing high-heeled shoes.
Since then, women's shoes with heels have taken a place in his wardrobe, however, he tried on a skirt about five years ago, suggesting that heels go much better with tight skirts than with classic men's trousers or jeans.
11 years ago, Mark Brian married a woman from Germany and moved in with his wife from his native Texas. In the person of his chosen one, he found full support and understanding, now she even advises him sometimes what and with what to wear. And Mark's adult daughters, who remained in America, sincerely regret the impossibility of borrowing a pair of stylish shoes from their dad.
According to Mark, clothes have no gender. After all, he still remembers the days when girls were forbidden to wear trousers to school, but now they have become a familiar item of women's wardrobe. Why can't a man afford to wear strong pencil skirts? In one of his interviews, Mark Brian admitted that he likes to be different from other people.
Women who prefer to wear business suits have always admired him, but not in terms of sexuality, but in the power that they radiated. Now he is happy to try on skirts, orders shoes from online stores and has developed his own style. He doesn’t like dresses because they make it impossible to mix men’s and women’s clothes in the same ensemble. He prefers to wear standard blazers, shirts, jackets and vests, but below the waist - by all means skirts of different shapes and styles. Most often, these are narrow pencil skirts, which, I must admit, suit him very much.
Because I can
When Mark is asked why he dresses like that, he simply answers: "Because I can!" For him, clothes have nothing to do with sexuality, but they make him feel more confident and stronger. He seems to challenge gender stereotypes every day.
At the same time, he knows for sure that only truly strong and self-confident people can afford to wear inappropriate clothes. At first, he himself had to face the pressure at work. But Mark is not going to be led by public opinion. He is at an age when judgmental glances towards him no longer matter.
Mark is a man of traditional orientation, and with his clothes he does not try to prove anything to anyone. He just enjoys his appearance. For him, clothes and shoes are a means of self-expression. As a football coach, his mission is to help young people not only develop physically, but also cope with problems. More compliments, and Mark gets a lot of them, he is impressed by the words about his influence on their worldview. According to some people, the unusual appearance of a man helps them to look at things from a different angle. By the way, Mark Brian receives more compliments from women aged 30-40, but men do not praise him. However, they can be understood.
However, Mark Brian wears a skirt and high heels on a daily basis to go to work. Naturally, he often catches perplexed or openly mocking looks on himself, but they do not bother him at all. He feels strong and confident in his desire to wear only what he likes. And gender differences have nothing to do with it.
The only thing that can infuriate him is questions about his non-traditional sexual orientation. But he immediately invites opponents to direct their hints to women who wear pants. Or skirts, like himself. When he first went to work in a skirt five years ago, he was noticeably nervous, but determined to defend his choice. And suddenly I realized that most people do not care at all about how you look.
Men, who are initially shocked by Mark's clothes, understand already five minutes after the start of communication: a normal guy is standing in front of them. He wears skirts and stiletto heels, but acts like an ordinary man. Mark Brian loves fast driving, is not indifferent to beautiful women, loves sports and his Porsche. He is not at all a sissy and behaves like a man in all situations. He is a strong and confident man in a skirt and heels.
From time immemorial, dresses and skirts were considered exclusively women's clothing, at least that's what most people still think. But as it turned out, in addition to Scotland, there are a number of countries where a skirt or dress is considered traditional men's clothing, which is mandatory worn by representatives of the strong half of humanity both in everyday life and to work, study, regardless of age.
