The first season of "The Last Hero", which started on Russian television 20 years ago, has gathered a huge number of fans. The project participants were closely watched by millions of viewers, empathized, rejoiced and upset with them. The winners received not only fame as a reward, but also a very solid monetary reward. Did the winners of the past eight seasons manage to fulfill their dream, and how are they doing today?

Sergey Odintsov

Former paratrooper, candidate for master of sports in hand-to-hand combat, winner of the medal "For Courage", received during his military service for the storming of Grozny, took part in the show during his next vacation. A win of three million rubles allowed Sergei Odintsov to change a dorm room for a separate three-room apartment in his native Kursk, buy a car and invest the remaining amount in the construction of a cafe. He quit his job, after he was elected a deputy of the city council, but the political career of Sergei Odintsov did not work out. Participation in the fifth season of the show was also not very successful, and in 2006 the "last hero" received a suspended sentence: he became the culprit of an accident, in which he knocked down a traffic police inspector, who received several injuries.

He left his first family, where two children were growing up, married a second time, moved to Nizhny Novgorod and became a father for the third time. Currently, Sergei Odintsov is actively involved in business, raising his son Arseny. He was supposed to take part in the ninth season of "The Last Hero", but was put on trial for beating his neighbor, who asked the "star" not to make noise after midnight. In 2021, Sergey Odintsov began to maintain his own channel on Youtube.

Veronica Norkina

Before participating in the show, Veronica was a simple, albeit quite popular hairdresser in Stary Oskol. Participation in the show gave her a big win, which allowed her to move from a provincial town to the capital. She opened her own beauty salon and met Igor Bezuglov, a participant in the first season of The Last Hero, who became her husband.

The couple went into the restaurant business together, lived in Lithuania for 10 years, and later returned to Moscow. Now Veronica Norkina devotes most of her time to raising her daughter, and her husband is engaged in their family business.

Vladimir Presnyakov Jr

Participation and victory in the show did not in any way change the life of the singer and musician, but only allowed him to gain self-confidence. He invested part of the amount received for the victory in the construction of a house, and the rest of the money simply donated to another finalist of the show, Lena Perova, so that she could record a disc and invest in real estate. As you know, Vladimir Presnyakov himself is currently happily married to Natalia Podolskaya, with whom he is raising two sons, Arseny and Ivan, born in 2015 and 2020, respectively.

Yana Volkova

The winner of the fourth season was a favorite of the participants and spectators. Before participating in the show, she served as a bodyguard driver in St. Petersburg and was a professional powerlifter. Thanks to the winnings, she created a fund to help homeless animals, published the newspaper "Moska". In 2014, Yana Volkova was diagnosed with cancer. The last years of her life, a brave woman spent helping those who needed her. Unfortunately, on January 16, 2018, Yana Volkova passed away. She was only 55 years old.

Alexander Matveev

He already took part in the fourth season, but did not become a winner, but in the fifth he was lucky. He had many years of service in the police behind him, and by the time the program was filmed, he was head of the supply department. After winning the show, he quit his job, and spent most of the winnings on charity, including fulfilling his own dream of restoring a temple in the village.

The winner of the fifth season starred in several episodes of the series "Hour of Volkov", and currently heads the regional economic security service in a large company and takes part in the ninth season of "The Last Hero".

Vladimir Lysenko

The winner of the sixth season served as a manager of one of the hotels of the Heliopark chain before participating in the show, and he returned to this place after filming ended. The victory in no way changed his life, he is still keen on alpine skiing and all with the same passion, as before, takes part in sailing regattas.

Vladimir Lysenko is happily married and quite happy with his lot. He spent part of the winnings on the purchase of real estate, and the rest on gifts and help to friends. Currently, Vladimir Lysenko holds the post of Acting Director of the Department of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region.

Anfisa Chernykh

For the actress and model, participating in the show has become a kind of adventure. She admitted that at some point she even thought that the game would never end and she would have to live on the island of Palawan (Philippines) for many, many days. After the end of filming, nothing has changed in Anfisa Chernykh's life, except for her own attitude to what is happening around. She learned to appreciate what she has and, by her own admission, realized why she was born.

Nadezhda Angarskaya

The participant of the show "Comedy Woman" took the main prize of the eighth season - an apartment in Moscow, which, however, she sold very soon and, thanks to the proceeds, was finally able to pay off several of her loans. Participation in the project helped her get rid of a dozen extra pounds, and in 2021 Nadezhda Angarskaya returned to the show.

Believe in mysticism or not, statistics love accuracy. The sudden departure from the life of the singer Yulia Nachalova again forced to talk about the victims of the reality show "The Last Hero". To date, there are no ten people alive who had the most direct relation to the project. Among them are two producers, one presenter and seven direct participants.
