In Moscow, the spouses were disappointed. Svetlana was ready to be accepted into almost every theater where the spouses were shown, but they refused to take Dmitry to the troupe. Returning to Leningrad, the couple were able to get a job at the theater on Liteiny.
By that time, it was already becoming clear to her: behind the beautiful words about loyalty and fidelity in the family, there was a banal professional jealousy. Dmitry was just jealous of his wife's talent and success as an actress. And she lost the desire to look back at her husband in everything. Soon she agreed to go to work at the Akimov Leningrad Comedy Theater.
The last point in their relationship was put by Svetlana's pregnancy. Her husband forced her to have an abortion, after which she demanded a divorce and returned to her parents' house.

But the actress was not alone for long. Soon she had a passionate romance with her theater colleague Gennady Voropaev. He, unlike the ex-husband of the actress, could not have any jealousy towards her in the profession. By that time, Gennady Voropaev had already starred in the main role in the film "Vertical". And in the theater he was known as the favorite of the audience.
He courted beautifully, but he had no intention of marrying Svetlana Karpinskaya. He already had a family where his adored son was growing up. Nevertheless, the actress loved Voropaev. She liked his attention, his kindness and tenderness towards her. True, he was terribly jealous, absolutely did not tolerate the presence of other men next to Svetlana. This applied to both fans and colleagues.
But the news of pregnancy again became a stumbling block in the relationship. The beloved, just like the former spouse, demanded an abortion. The actress was already over 30 and the desire to have a child became too strong for her to refuse him.
Happiness over the edge
Soon the actress gave birth to a daughter, Katya. He Voropaev, she did not even wait for a congratulatory telegram. Parting with her beloved man was given to Svetlana Karpinskaya with great difficulty. But now she has a meaning in life, her daughter. She even in her declining years recalled the moment when she, leaving the baby with her mother, ran for something to the store and felt incredibly happy. She just physically felt that happiness was overflowing and she wanted to share it with the whole world.
After the birth of her daughter, the actress lived with her parents in a small room. Even a baby bath for bathing a baby could only be put on the ottoman, there was simply no other place. Then Svetlana resolutely wrote a letter to the Minister of Culture Yekaterina Furtseva, with a request to assist in obtaining an apartment. The actress and her daughter moved to a small two-room apartment in Kupchino.
Svetlana Karpinskaya never married again. She was quite successful in the theater and was popular. But she gave all her love and tenderness to her daughter.
Dmitry Zinchenko worked on the radio, got married and moved with his wife to Moscow, as he dreamed. Gennady Voropaev recognized his daughter already in adulthood, when Catherine grew up. Svetlana Alekseevna did not interfere with their communication and did not hide grudges. He fell in love with the eldest grandson of Alexei.
She played several more roles in the cinema, was popular as a theater actress, but remained a "Girl without an Address". Svetlana Karpinskaya died in February 2017.
