Video: Daring antics of ordinary cows who did not want to live in a stall and proved that they are capable of more

Who said that a cow is a stupid, phlegmatic and clumsy animal? However, maybe most of the cows behave this way - sedately, peacefully chewing grass and humbly awaiting their fate, but among them, as it turned out, there are some rebels. These freedom-loving cows did not want to live a dull cow life and decided to go their own, special way, which made them famous all over the world.
In the forest with deer
Last fall in the US state of New York, a livestock farmer died and there was no one to take over his farm. It was decided to sell all the cattle at an auction. Their further fate had to be decided by the new owners - either let them go for meat, or leave them as milk producers. In early November, when the cows were being loaded into vans, one of them, a four-month-old heifer, Bonnie, managed to escape. Since she was "ownerless", they were not looking for her especially zealously.
The cold was approaching, and everyone thought that the cow would certainly die. But soon the locals, to their surprise, began to meet a cow in the forest. Sometimes she came out of the thicket and grazed peacefully on the edge of the forest or even approached local farms. During this time, she grew up and became completely wild, so no one managed to catch her, and amateur footage filmed by local residents on the phone said that it was not a ghost. It was this shooting that helped to understand why Bonnie managed to survive in the forest. It turns out that the cow nailed to a herd of wild deer.
A local resident named Becky worried about the cow and made it a rule to regularly come to the part of the forest where she was most often seen, and bring feed, hay and water there on a sled. When the woman was out of sight, the fugitive approached the "gifts" and ate them. Sometimes Bonnie and Bonnie enjoyed hay and her deer friends.
Gradually, the cow got used to the woman and began to let her close. And after a while, Bonnie managed to catch the local animal rights activists. Now the cow lives in a shelter for farm animals, where she has already made friends with a calf.
In order not to get to the slaughterhouse, I ran to the bison
Eastern Poland also has its own Mowgli. Last year, several cows escaped from the pasture of one of the local farms through a broken fence. The owner managed to capture all but one. Winter came and everyone forgot about the fugitive, believing that she was dead.
And suddenly, one fine day, Rafal Kowalczyk, an employee of the Institute of Mammalian Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, observing from afar a herd of wild bison grazing near the Bialowieza Forest, discovered that one of them was very different from the others in color. Looking more closely, the zoologist realized that it was a cow. As it turned out, it was the one who had fled the farm a few months earlier.
Apparently, the animal felt quite comfortable among the bison, so it was decided not to pull the cow out of the wild.
Some scientists have expressed concern that if a cow mates with a bison, she may die during childbirth, and if it leaves offspring, it will damage the gene pool of bison, which are already on the verge of extinction. However, the facts of such crossing in nature have not yet been recorded. In any case, it is safer for a cow to live with bison than with the owner-farmer, since he planned to use his animals for meat.
Borya went to the cows
By the way, two years ago, an amusing incident was recorded, also associated with cows, bison and Belovezhskaya Pushcha, only it happened not on Polish, but on Belarusian land. The Bialowieza bison migrated to the Kobrin region, where they joined a herd of cows. For about two months he lived with them, while the specialists were waiting for official permission to catch the animal. The bison was even given a name - Borya. During his life in the herd, he loved to "hooligan" - for example, tore off milkings in the pasture, but at the end of the day he always obediently went to spend the night on the farm with the cows.
When the time came to take Borya out of the herd, at first it was not possible to immobilize him in any way - the sleeping pill did not work on him. Then the experts tied his horns, covered him with a trap from above, and eventually brought him back to Belovezhskaya Pushcha.
The dog's life was to my liking
American Janice Wolf is known as the creator of a unique animal shelter. For many years now she has been treating and nursing our smaller brothers, and in her shelter turtles, goats, pigs, dogs and cats picked up on the street … cattle, behaved quite unceremoniously.
Since Moonpai was still a completely helpless calf, the hostess of the shelter took her to her house for the first time. The cow very quickly got used to among twelve Janice's dogs (most of which are bull terriers) and began to behave like a dog too, imitating her “older comrades”. Those, in turn, took care of her, considering her a member of their "pack". Moonpai especially fell in love with the deaf bull terrier Spakla, apparently mistaking him for her mother.
In general, when it came time to move to the barn, she flatly refused to do this and stayed to live in the house.
Migrant cow narrowly escaped execution
But the Bulgarian cow Penka has become a celebrity, having won the fame of the most real international criminal. In May of this year, she voluntarily left the farm in the village of Mazarachevo, reached the border with Serbia and crossed it, moreover, being pregnant. The cow was found and returned to its owner by a Serbian farmer.
Upon learning of this, the Bulgarian authorities opened a case on the fact of illegal crossing of the EU border, and it was considered by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. According to the law, Penka was supposed to be killed, because she spent two weeks outside the EU and returned back without veterinary documents, which means that she could pose an epidemiological danger.
Animal rights activists from all over the world are concerned about the fate of the pregnant cow. The petition, drawn up at the suggestion of the owner of the animal, gained tens of thousands of signatures on social networks, and even the legendary musician Paul McCartney supported it. Fortunately, the tests showed that Penka is absolutely healthy. The court ruled to keep her alive and return her to the owner.
Adorable photos of cows that proved that cows are not worse than dogs, make you look at these animals in a new way.

Why did the Germans want to kidnap Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill, and why they did not succeed
The plan to kidnap the leaders of the "Big Three" states could be called an adventure, if not for the punctuality and scale with which the Germans were preparing for the operation. One thing the German leaders did not take into account before the "Long Leap" - the activity and awareness of Soviet intelligence, the coherence and scale of their secret, but effective work. Thanks to the timely detention of SS saboteurs and the arrests of German agents, the USSR special services managed to disrupt the operation already at the first stage it was completed

She did not promote the Germans, did not ruin Russia, did not leave the course of Peter: what is Anna Ioannovna accused of in vain?
Anna Ioannovna, niece of Peter the Great, went down in history with a terrible image. Anna Ioannovna had a lot of bad character, but the myth about her as an unsuccessful ruler who gave Russia to be torn apart by foreigners is very far from the real historical picture
