Valentin Gaft is one of those actors for whom "people's" is not only an official title, but also a real status, reflecting the attitude of millions of viewers towards him. However, among his colleagues in the acting workshop, he managed to make a lot of ill-wishers. The reason was, of course, creativity, but only on a completely different field - literary. The fact is that Valentin Iosifovich is the author of wonderful poems and incredibly poignant epigrams, which he always generously "rewarded" friends and acquaintances with.

That writing such evil poetry is not always useful, Gaft even warned himself (in a kind of autoepigram):

However, it seems that he himself did not heed his advice, so today his rest of his literary work, to be honest, is not as well known as the caustic and sharp statements addressed to his colleagues:

However, women got the most from Gaft. The beautiful stars of Soviet cinema were not in vain offended in response, since not all of these creations could be read aloud in a decent society.

We must pay tribute, brothers in the acting workshop also sometimes answered the offender with his own weapon - they wrote epigrams in response to Gaft. Sometimes it worked out quite well:

But Alexander Ivanov, the permanent host of the "Around Laughter" program, honestly admitted in his response poem that he was not going to compete with Valentin Gaft on this "battlefield":

Valentin Gaft himself wrote about his own sharp character as follows:

Now Valentin Iosifovich is preparing for the 85th anniversary (the actor was born on September 2, 1935). The result of his many years of creative career has become not only a hundred roles in films and about fifty in theaters, but also several published books and collections of poetry.
