Fyodor Bondarchuk and Paulina Andreeva are called the brightest couple in Russian cinema. They first appeared together on the red carpet of the Kinotavr-2016 festival, and since then the actress and director have come together to all events. In 2019, they became husband and wife, but, despite the external openness, the spouses are in no hurry to share the details of their personal lives, limiting themselves only to admitting that they have never been so happy.

Eternity until we meet

Fyodor Bondarchuk, the son of the legendary Soviet director Sergei Bondarchuk and the talented actress Irina Skobtseva, has been married to his first love Svetlana Rudskaya for 25 years. They raised two children, rejoiced at the appearance of their grandchildren, however, outside the door of a noble family, for a long time everything was not as smooth as it seemed from the outside.

They first met at a time when Svetlana was barely 16, Fedor - 17. For both, these were the first feelings that young people hoped to preserve for the rest of their lives. True, they signed after the birth of their son Sergei in 1991, but what could a banal stamp in a passport mean if they were together and loved each other?

Eight years later, a daughter, Varvara, was born in the family, who had developmental features, but problems with the child only made Sergei and Svetlana become stronger and closer to each other.

When and at what point they began to move away from each other, the former spouses are unlikely to be able to tell. For several years, they retained the appearance of a relationship, although in fact the family had not existed for a long time. And then there was an official statement from Fedor and Svetlana Bondarchuk, in which they notified of their separation.

After that, Paulina Andreeva, with whom Fyodor Bondarchuk began to appear at all events, was accused that it was she who destroyed the first family of the director. However, then the journalists revealed many details of her personal life. Paulina herself remained silent, but Svetlana Bondarchuk was forced to write about Paulina's innocence in the divorce, because the family ceased to exist long before the ex-husband's acquaintance with the actress.

Paulina did not react to the descriptions of her novels with famous actors and directors, she seemed to step back, preferring to focus on her professional activities and her relationship with her lover, rather than on excuses.

Not at first sight

It is unlikely that, heading to the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater to see the production of "Number 13D", Fyodor Bondarchuk was counting on some changes in his life. However, they happened a little later, and that evening the director simply drew attention to the young actress Paulina Andreeva, who played in tandem with Igor Vernik. She was graceful, relaxed and clearly talented. The director began to follow her work, attended performances with her participation, watched films where she starred.

How and when they met, history is silent. Fyodor Bondarchuk answers journalists' questions very shortly: "This is personal!" Paulina Andreeva herself is in no hurry to lift the veil of secrecy over the history of acquaintance and rapprochement. It is only known that by the time of their first joint appearance at the Kinotavr-2016 festival, Fedor Bondarchuk had already made an offer to his chosen one, although he had not yet been officially divorced.

It was important for both of them to demonstrate to the whole world: from now on we are together! The director in one of his interviews was quite frank and admitted: Paulina's family is very conservative and seriousness of intentions is important for them. True, three more years had to pass from the moment of the marriage proposal to the official marriage. And Paulina Andreeva herself became the initiator of the delay in this process. The hype surrounding their relationship did not contribute in any way to the preparation for the wedding. Lovers signed on September 17, 2019.

Happiness without conditions

Their marriage was shrouded in the same mystery as the beginning of the relationship. Fyodor Bondarchuk and Paulina Andreeva did not make a fuss around him, and all guests were asked not to post photos from their wedding on the Internet. As a result, even those who attended the holiday and posted congratulations on the wedding on social networks posted old photos of the couple.

Even the bride shared just one photo of herself in a wedding dress. But friends who attended the event assured: it was impossible to look at the bride and groom without tears, they were so happy and touching that day.

Today the couple are still as happy as they were a year ago, on their wedding day. Fyodor Bondarchuk admits: he has never felt so good in his life as he is now. He and his wife are constantly laughing, and he himself seems to have grown younger, having dropped half of his own age at once. The spouses do not feel at all those 22 years that separate them.

Paulina Andreeva is still periodically accused of banal calculation when marrying, and Fyodor Bondarchuk is reproached that he was simply carried away by a young actress and exchanged his first love for carnal pleasures. But the spouses prefer not to pay any attention to rumors and speculation. They know for sure: behind their desire to start a family there are mutual interests, consisting in the desire to be happy. If this is called calculation, then let it turn out to be accurate in their lives.

The only thing they lack is time. Paulina Andreeva and Fyodor Bondarchuk have very busy work schedules, and participation in joint projects does not happen as often as they would like. But parting in the morning, they look forward to meeting in the evening, because they manage to miss each other very much.
