Surely many remember how more than a dozen years ago a sentimental film drama with the intriguing title "Cook" appeared on the country's television screens. The audience was shocked by the fate of the main character, who was amazingly played by a little girl - Nastya Dobrynina. It was around this character that a touching story was twisted, forcing many to experience and sympathize with the orphan child. Good, Wisdom, Love and Justice seemed to look at the viewer through the eyes of a little girl, deprived of all the joys of life. A few words about the plot of the movie "Cook"

This is a Russian social drama about two women's destinies - a little girl and a young woman, who found each other in a big city. Their two life lines run in parallel for some time until they are intertwined into a single whole. Lena (Dina Korzun) is a successful woman who seems to have everything, but the main thing is not. Leaving noisy Moscow, she goes to St. Petersburg, where she was once born and raised, in search of herself and comes across a cute girl with huge, blue eyes.

The smart girl Cook (Nastya Dobrynina) lives completely alone in an abandoned janitor's room, afraid to admit to everyone that her only relative, an old grandmother, has died. If they find out about this, the baby will be taken to the orphanage. And she is very afraid of this. Therefore, six-year-old Cook "at the request of a sick grandmother" goes to the grocery store, receives a pension for her and wisely sets aside money to buy clothes for the winter. And if something remains, you can afford a little candy. She has only one friend - a one-eyed teddy bear. He replaced her mom, dad and grandmother.

It goes without saying that this sentimental drama, after watching, leaves almost no one indifferent. And the main charm of this film is in that very little Cook, who, after the death of her grandmother, had to grow up very quickly. And this independence cannot fail to bribe the viewer. Anastasia Dobrynina just brilliantly played the main role. It was on her that the whole film was held. The entire film crew was delighted with the young talent. Everyone liked the baby for her spontaneity, cheerful disposition and professional approach to work. And she was only seven years old at the time of filming.

And since Nastya, due to her age, could only read by syllables, her mother read out her lines from the script, and the young actress remembered and expressively repeated the text. By the way, in the film "Cook" Nastya's mother, actress Alevtina Dobrynina, also played a cameo role as a supermarket saleswoman.
