Considering modern masterpieces of design thought, it is sometimes difficult to understand where creativity ends and real art begins. Take for example the creation of Lebanese designers Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibri, who created a brand of stunning designer furniture. Bokja design … Relatively recently, in a Milan showroom, they organized an exhibition and sale of an incredible car. Bokja Bugdesigned in their unique bokja style. No, it was not just a car - a real masterpiece, a work of art! The designers, however, did not do anything supernatural. They simply wrapped the Beetle's body in shreds of bright oriental fabric they use to decorate their furniture. However, it should be noted that all these tapestries and scraps are handmade and are separate works of art.
In addition to the car body, the interior of the cabin was also processed: seats, steering wheel, gearbox, glass … As a result, the car looked like a hippie-style transport, or a gypsy carriage, or a full-size, but very colorful car sculpture.
Since it was an exhibition and sale, the car was not in the spotlight for long and served as a show piece. It is known that it was acquired by the noble Italian rich woman Angela Missoni, who paid more than a thousand euros. The money raised for the masterpiece on wheels went to charity, namely, to help children affected in Haiti.
