The name of the French artist Jef Aérosol should be known to everyone who considers himself a true fan of street art. Jef Aérosol created the first graffiti back in 1982 in the French city of Tours. How many have there been since then? Hundreds or maybe even thousands? The public recognized the author's work: this is evidenced at least by the fact that his drawings regularly appear not only on the streets of cities, but also at various exhibitions. One of Jeff's latest exhibitions, Girls, Girls, Girls, took place in London this May.
Each of the images presented is a hymn to female beauty and sensuality. Graffiti heroines are ordinary women, who, however, are no less beautiful than recognized beauties and celebrities. Some of the drawings are similar in style to posters from the post-war years, while others are very modern. Jeff says that he drew inspiration for his work from the aesthetics of the 50s and 60s.
"Girls, girls girls" is an exhibition dedicated to women, it is a sexy and sensual exhibition, says Jef Aérosol. - Female curves have always attracted artists, and I am no exception. Jeff creates graffiti using stencils, that is, templates. At various times, his works have appeared on the streets of London, Paris, Lisbon, Venice, Amsterdam, New York, Brussels, Beijing and other cities. The author currently lives in Lille, France.
