They went down in history as the most cruel, uncompromising and strong-willed dictators of all times and peoples. But the fear that they caught up on those around them did not prevent the latter from sprinkling into their fists from the unexpected hobbies and habits of tyrants, which they could not deny themselves. Knowing about these nuances, one can see those who kept entire countries in fear in a slightly different context and realize that, despite everything, they had human weaknesses and fears.

If it were not for the touching photos of Hitler performed by Eva Braun, taken at home, the world would never have known that the most bloodthirsty tyrant knew how to be calm and peaceful. In the company of a woman who adored him, he even looks like a "teddy bear" and not a despot. Stalin, on the other hand, was attached to details and kept an eared fox at home - an alarm clock and did not allow his old boots to be thrown away. His shoes were changed under cover of night, when the leader was asleep, they simply changed the old ones for the same, but new ones. Sometimes he noticed the substitution and demanded to return the old pair to him. Needless to say, how many times his entourage rolled their eyes (until Stalin himself saw), in response to the demand to immediately return his worn-out kirzachi!

Joseph Stalin - a frustrated cowboy

Stalin, perhaps, himself most of all, and suffered from the halo of indestructible confidence and seriousness created around him. Stalin's vulnerable soul shone through not only in moments of sadness and drunkenness, in his youth he wrote poetry, under the pseudonym Soselo his works were even published in collections, and one of the poems opens a Georgian primer. He was even ashamed of his talent, believing that this would hit his reputation, apparently the vulnerable poet barely exposed his soul even before the start of his revolutionary career. He forbade the publication of his poems, arguing that otherwise he would have to blush "like a girl."

The romantic soul of the leader also gravitated towards speed and motorcycles, but he did not ride them, he did not even get behind the wheel of a car himself. He considered riding a motorcycle something youthful, unworthy of the head of state to be fond of it. But he could not deny himself a little weakness. In the garage he had several copies, solely for the admiration and joy of the Stalinist soul. But his son Vasily, who took over his father's passion, developed this direction in the country.

Stalin loved cinema, all his dachas had good cinemas, and Stalin himself had access to the best works of world cinema. He watched Soviet films less often and as a censor, but he enjoyed Western films, and most of all he liked Westerns. But at the same time, for the Soviet rental, he banned them, as ideologically wrong. He himself watched them in batches. By the way, modern psychologists explain this by the fact that Stalin identified himself with a cowboy. The irreconcilable enemy of the previous dictator, and after all, Stalin bypassed Hitler not only in his historical life, but even in his mustache. How can Adolf's pitiful brush compare to Joseph's magnificent splendor? Yes, never! So why did Hitler have such a scanty mustache? In fact, at first the mustache of the future Fuhrer was dashing, "Kaiser", dashingly twisting up and, probably, making the heart beat faster than a single Frau. But he was a military man and the commander did not like that his mustache did not fit into a gas mask. They were ordered to pacify their daring. He could not simply shave them off, since he had an extremely ugly upper lip.

Hitler was really worried about the sex life of his soldiers, what a concern for his subordinates! Many dictators and tyrants were very worried about their own image and reputation, of course, because the position in society largely depends on this, they could not allow any of their habits to seem funny or cute to others. However, they still could not do it and Saddam Hussein was no exception.

He made the main emphasis on education, it is considered his merit that during the period of his reign the number of literate population increased from 30% to 70%. But in general, we are not talking about the Middle Ages and the reign of Hussein lasted a good two decades. If Stalin cultivated his personality on all fronts, then Saddam Hussein adored his own images or monuments. The fate of this book is not clear, because you cannot write holy scriptures in blood, but it is also forbidden to destroy them. His other passion was construction. He built more than 80 palaces in which he himself or his relatives lived. One of his mistresses claimed that the dictator liked to take care of himself. For example, he made masks from herbal infusions and dyed his hair, adored costumes from Pierre Cardin and danced to Frank Sinatra. The inner circle was aware that the head of state adored the Led Zeppelin group.

He also hated new shoes, they seemed uncomfortable to him, he had previously worn them out so that they would be softer and freer. In general, he highly appreciated his own comfort, but at the same time he was extremely untidy, preferring to spend money on fixing old things, rather than buying new ones.

The personality cult of the leader of the state simply crossed all the boundaries of reason. For example, Koreans were convinced that weather conditions depended directly on the mood of Kim Jong Il, and after his death they cried with horror that nature could end its existence as well.

The leader himself was terrified of being poisoned. As a result, insane security measures had to be followed to feed him. He sat down at the table last, after the special people ate the food prepared for him. Sometimes he sent doubles, and he himself ate in another place, where it should have been definitely safe. At the same time, he had huge requirements for the quality of food, it must be healthy and properly prepared. Even the grains should be the same size.

But this fear did not prevent him from enjoying life and throwing banquets for three days, and his birthday was the second public holiday in the country. At the same time, a concert of creative groups was held, among which the leader of the country often chose his mistresses. He loved dancers and pretty actresses.

Probably, he also told them about his fantastic achievements. Apparently all that he had de facto, without any stories and explanations, was not enough. For example, his official biography says that during his first golf game in his life, he scored more points than the record holder, who has 18 titles and 19 tournaments under his belt. And yes, Kim Jong Il appreciated his result that he never played golf again. What's the point? Judging by the same biography, he wrote fifteen hundred books, and this is only during his higher education. He is also the author of 6 operas, 100 episodes of a documentary about North Korea.

It is generally accepted that Joseph Stalin was completely detached from things and led an ascetic lifestyle. However, it is worth looking at his summer cottages, it becomes clear that he did not collect money and jewelry, but real estate and impressions, having the opportunity to relax in the best corners of the vast country.
