A popular foreign publication has ranked the best album covers of this century. The ranking was published on November 20. It includes only those covers that were made in the 21st century. Thus, the cover of the Holy Fire disc from the British group Foals was recognized as the absolute leader. The cover is designed by artist Leif Podhaiski. He created his version based on the original photograph of Thomas Nebbia.
The second line of the rating was the disc of hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar called To Pimp a Butterfly. The album cover was created by artist Vlad Sepetov. In third place was the release of the British rapper The Streets titled Original Pirate Material. A photograph of the German photographer Ruth Blies Luxemburg was used on it.
In addition to those listed in the top ten, such albums as Currents from Tame Impala, Is This It by rockers The Strokes, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West, Run the Jewels' second studio recording, Hail to the Thief by Radiohead, David's Next Day Bowie and Blonde Frank Ocean. In total, 22 albums have made their way to the prestigious list. At the bottom of the list was the cover of Gang Signs & Prayer by grime musician Stormzy.
