On January 28, 2013 the world famous Danish company Lego celebrated the 55th anniversary of obtaining a patent for its iconic designer. This is the anniversary of an unusual event held in conjunction with a Canadian creative agency. Brad … The essence of this promotion is to create 55 riddles-puzzles using LEGO.
The LEGO construction set is one of the best gifts for a child, because it develops imagination and fine motor skills! However, adults love him no less, and sometimes more, than children!
It is precisely on the development of imagination that the LEGO company has been focusing in its advertising campaigns in recent years. Recall at least a series of posters from Imagine, in which characters from popular cartoons and TV series were created using construction elements.
A similar project, only much more ambitious, is being carried out by LEGO now. It is dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the company's patent for the constructor. Here are 55 puzzle pictures created by Montreal-based creative agency Brad, commissioned by the Danes.
These 55 pictures are posted in turn on the Thumbr website. Each of them is a puzzle in which a famous film, fairy tale or book is conceived. And all LEGO fans are invited to guess what exactly is shown in the picture.
Moreover, these puzzles were created using very limited visual means - one or more LEGO bricks and a pair of drawn lines. However, it’s hard not to guess that the black and red elements of the construction set against the background of the forest are “Little Red Riding Hood”, an oblong gray cube running along the bottom next to the big white one is “Titanic”, and three pink ones inside the house and one black outside are “Three pigs.
At the same time, each puzzle has a hint telling what exactly this picture represents - a book, a film, a fairy tale, a song, or, say, a rock band.
