In the past - an engraver and sculptor, today a talented master Peter Gentenaar from Holland was seriously carried away by such material as paper, and sculptural installations made from it. For example, in the church hall of the Abbey of Saint-Riquier in northern France, the artist arranged an exposition in which he presented more than 100 paper installations that hung in the air right under the domes. For his sculptural installations, Peter Gentenar makes paper with his own hand. He says that if you process the pulp correctly, you get exactly what you need: strong, durable paper that can withstand all my fantasies, which I bring to life in installations and sculptures.
The sculptor admits that initially he did not perceive paper as a serious material for creativity. He believed that it was only suitable for drawing, writing or packaging. But one day he still gave her a chance, and was surprised to find that some types of paper are in no way inferior in flexibility and strength to the leaves of trees and plants. This means that you can work with them. Thus, fixing sheets of paper on thin bamboo frames, the sculptor creates his light, weightless works, floating in the air under church domes.
The author's various paper installations can be found on his website.

30 most beautiful Orthodox bell towers, with sparkling golden domes
For a long time in Russia, the bell towers of Orthodox churches were the main city attractions, and, in principle, the main places in the city. Bell towers - both preserved through the centuries, and new - are pleasing to the eye even today
