A resident of Novgorod Dmitry Bukhrov never learned to draw. He says that this talent is in his blood. Like, I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. But if for most people with age and experience, the pictures become more serious, with Dmitry they were both childish and remain. But this is only "externally". "Internally" they are still filled with adult cynicism, and sometimes - with sadness and doom.
The genre of naive art in which Dmitry Bukhrov creates is not understood by many. Like, how can you pass off drawings with irregular proportions, deprived of volume and depth, and generally written in bypassing all the rules of painting, as creativity? Dmitry Bukhrov has two main themes for creativity - angels and everything else. However, angels are not only kids with wings and pink cheeks. They are also sufferers, sad creatures with lowered wings behind their backs. Novgorod is a city rich in churches and temples, therefore Bukhrov's paintings are permeated with a special philosophy.
