When Alsou was 5 years old, she saw a concert grand piano for the first time and asked her father for the same one as a gift. The father, who usually does not refuse his daughter anything, said that this is not a toy, but a musical instrument, and he requires a serious attitude towards himself. The little girl promised her parents that she would definitely learn to play. And they gave her the piano.

When Alsou was 9 years old, the family moved from northern Kogalym to Moscow. The girl went to study at one of the best music schools, but a year later her father sent her to the UK, to a private boarding house - he is sure that it is there that her daughter will be able to get the best education. And it was there that the shy young Alsou entered the stage for the first time, and the debut was a success. Then a friend persuaded her to sing the song "I’ll always love you" at a concert in a summer camp in the Swiss Alps.

When Alsou returned home, she just excitedly told her father about her success, and he asked her daughter to repeat this number at the wedding of her older brother, where, by the way, the entire capital's elite were invited. And Alsou sang … This performance was significant. The next day, one of her friends called Alsou's mother, who really liked the girl's performance, and gave her the phone number of producer Vadim Baykov, who at that time worked with such stars as Irina Allegrova, Alena Apina and Jasmine. Alsou's mother did just that. And from that very call, Alsou's professional career began.

Alsou's professional career

She was only 15 when, after the first listening, Vadim Baykov chose a song for her, for which a music video was immediately shot. It was the song "Winter Dream" that became the singer's business card for many years. It immediately became clear that a new star had shone on the horizon of the national stage.

After the debut video, two more were released, and after that Alsou went on her first all-Russian tour. The young singer categorically refused phonograms, therefore a musical group was urgently created, which always followed her. Even in the UK, where she returned to continue her college studies. It wasn't long before the young star received an offer from an American record company for a long-term contract, which involved the release of seven English-language albums.

At the age of 16, Alsou had the honor to represent Russia at Eurovision - one of the most prestigious music competitions. She was the youngest of the participants, but she competed very well. According to the voting results, Alsou was the second.

After successfully participating in Eurovision, Alsou went on a foreign tour, and then shot a joint video with a rising star, the son of the famous singer Enrique Iglessias. It was a success! 2001 brought Alsou the prestigious Music Awards, which she was presented as the best-selling singer of the year.

After graduating from British college, Alsou returned to Russia, entered the theater institute, and Denis Inglesby became her producer instead of Baykov. With the change of producer, a new round in the singer's work begins: foreign tours, joint recordings with world stars and the first acting experience, which, by the way, Alsou also received abroad - filming in the thriller "Trap for the Spirit", for which she also recorded the title soundtrack.
