The source of inspiration for Russian landscape painters from time immemorial has been the amazing pristine nature of Russia. Our contemporaries are also inspired by it. Each master finds his own zest in it, catching the eye and soulful strings of the viewer. Such a zest in creativity painter Dmitry Levin is an unusually juicy flavor that will take your breath away. So, today in our virtual gallery there are bright colorful works of a painter recognized all over the world, filled with deep semantic content, permeated with lyrics and authenticity.
The main theme of Dmitry Levin's work is the genre of the village landscape. The Russian hinterland with village streets and houses, winding forest roads and paths, small creeks and dry rivers, pristine natural landscape - is literally permeated with a feeling of love for all living things, tranquility, kindness and warmth.
On the one hand, the master's paintings are perceived very easily, but on the other, one can get lost in them in long-forgotten memories. For the work of Dmitry Levin is close to each of those who love their corner of the earth, where they were born and raised, or who have been in the village more than once, were enchanted by the landscapes of Russian nature.
This is probably the magic power of art!
Therefore, once seeing Levin's paintings, you literally look at them and, having received an extraordinary emotional uplift, you understand that you are no longer able to forget them. The painting of this master is in many ways fundamentally different from the works of other painters: firstly, by the artist's reverent affection and love for his origins, secondly, by an amazing technique, which is subject to the laws of colorful contrast, and thirdly - by the artistic techniques of Russian impressionism.
The colorful palette of the landscape painter Levin
Admiring the paintings of this master, once again I would like to note a very bright and juicy palette. Don't say so, but the choice of colors is a very important task for every artist, and Levin did an excellent job with it. Possessing vast experience in working with color solutions and properties of paints, the artist created his own inimitable author's style, which was highly appreciated by lovers of Russian landscape painting.
It should also be noted that the color key of Dmitry Levin's paintings is always inextricably linked with her emotional mood, which is why the color palette of his paintings is so diverse. In each of his work, he masterfully conveys all the changes that occur with paints under the influence of light, air, reflexes, glare, combinations with other paints.
Sunlight, often reflected in the form of oblique rays, as well as shadow as a contrasting factor, are inherent in almost every work of the master. They create an extraordinary feeling of a bright day, a gentle morning or a quiet evening. It is through carefully selected light-shadow and color combinations that the author conveys his feelings, emotions to the viewer, harmoniously revealing the idea of each picture.
I would especially like to note the amazing winter landscapes of the artist, in which it is almost impossible to see the local white color. As a rule, the snow-white covers on his canvases sparkle with shades of different colors. Here you can also see a rich palette of colors, and bright light and contrasting shadow, as well as amazing simplicity with a deep artistic and emotional meaning.
In this amazing artistic technique lies the great skill of the painter.
A wonderful sense of tonal color and contrasting complementary colors in the shade and in the light made it possible for the artist to create magnificent canvases that impress and delight even the discerning viewer.
