Just as sometimes a physicist and a lyricist, a romantic and a cynic can reconcile in one person, so in an Israeli designer named Hanan Kedmi love for computers and handicrafts coexist. So, one of his projects called Felt Follows Form is a collection of multi-colored woolen rings with "implanted" computer details as a decoration. The author says that he deliberately chose those parts of damaged computers that tend to overheat. In fact, cold, these details are in great contrast to the warm wool from which Hanan Kedmi made the jewelry.
"Plus, I wanted to try an alternative way of bonding parts besides welding and gluing. And then I got the idea - why not use wool?" - the author tells about the birth of his project. The "test of the pen" turned out to be surprisingly successful, and then a whole collection of unusual jewelry for computer geeks, well, or lovers of non-standard accessories, was born.
However, Hanan Kedmi did not invent jewelry for the boys. Perhaps he decided that in life they have enough technology and besides the felt-computer rings? However, all the details are on Hanan Kedmi's website.
