For 2019, director Alexei Krasovsky has scheduled the release of a feature film entitled "Holiday". The film is dedicated to the besieged Leningrad. It has not come out yet, but in the State Duma it was called blasphemy.
The exact release date is not named. The film itself is not yet ready. All the material has been filmed, but editing work is underway, after which the masters will have to work with color, sound, music and other moments. The director himself told about this. He also noted that the exact date of the release of his film on the big screen largely depends on the distributors.
All the actions of the film take place in besieged Leningrad. In the center of the picture is a privileged family that gathers guests to celebrate the New Year. There is a comedy genre in the film, and this is precisely what caused the controversial reaction to the film. Many consider it wrong to combine comedy with the tragic events of the Great Patriotic War.
The director Krasovsky himself wants to show with this film that people with privileges live well at any time, even in times of war. He notes that many, speaking about the times of the besieged Leningrad, talk about the absence of privileges, but even now they try not to notice them. If someone tries to raise such questions, look for an answer to them, they struggle with such people.
Many believe that the new film "Holiday" is the so-called genre of black comedy. The director himself says that the film has its elements, but for the most part it is still a light comedy, in which there are some elements of tragicomedy, drama and satire.
The blockade woman Flora Gerashchenko, having learned about the film, which is planned to be released next year, expressed her readiness to go to court. A woman will not tolerate mockery of tragic events and distortion of historical facts, which, in her opinion, have a particularly detrimental effect on the younger generation, who find it difficult to understand what is true and what is false.
Krasovsky posted a video fragment from his new film on his Facebook page on October 13. He also wrote that many residents of St. Petersburg provided assistance in filming the film, and at the same time there was not a single person who would try to dissuade him from making the film.

Dreams of conquering the Arctic, traveling the world - and twenty years of a happy life in a deep province. And also - constant artistic experiments behind the screen of socialist realism. Irina Vitman did not rebel, did not go underground and did not create a new Soviet avant-garde, just as she was not a "socialist realist" artist. She just lived by painting
