Fluffy flakes of snow, restless kids, surprised giraffes, people sleeping in the subway, women's legs, a head in a washing machine - all this and much more was captured by a street photographer (Shin Noguchi), who for many years snatches the most unusual, but so truthful moments from the everyday life of the Japanese.
Shin is one of the few photographers who manages not only to capture ridiculous and strange situations in the lens of his camera, but also to convey their whole essence in every shot. Focusing on the little quirks of the Japanese associated with their life-being, he shows how people look at the moment when they think that no one sees them. Sometimes his works cause laughter and a smile, but at the same time they make you think about why this is happening?
According to the photographer, he did not study photography specifically, but thanks to the efforts of his parents, Shin grew up among the arts. Already in his early years, drawing his inspiration from a variety of foreign films, jazz and rock, observing what was happening from the side, he took to the streets of the city, filming bright moments with an old film camera. Currently, the man is working with a modern Leica M9-P / M6 camera with 35 mm lenses.
- says the photographer.
Every photographer who specializes in street photography is like a writer who tells different stories about the life of completely different people. Carl Mancini managed to look not only, but also each of them into the soul, drawing to the surface the most real and true story of love and pain with a beautiful but sad name Amores Perros.
