If you believe Hollywood films, then in the Bronson Caves, where episodes for horror, adventure or Western films are often filmed, everything is simply saturated with an otherworldly spirit, and it may very well be that somewhere inside there is a secret passage to a parallel reality. It is a pity that not everyone is destined to see it. But it is quite possible to call "spirits" from this very reality. This is proved by the unusual art project of the American photographer. Brice Bischoff, which is called Bronson caves … So, shamans call their spirits with drums, chants and dances, the gods of Hinduism come wrapped in thick vapors of oils and other incense, and Bryce Bischoff needed several huge sheets of colored cardboard, high-quality photographic equipment and a couple of assistants.
The multi-colored ghosts in Bronson's caves were created thanks to sleight of hand, camera settings, in particular, very long exposure, correct foreshortening and tireless imagination of the author of the project. It was he who made the "ghosts" spin like a top in the darkness of the cave, creep by drifting snow on its stone floor, play with plants at the very exit and decorate the giant boulders that are rich in Bronson's caves. Sleight of hand - and no photoshop!
Magic is next to us, as if the photographer hints with his works. You just need to take a closer look around, not missing a single, even the smallest, detail. And then the world around will sparkle with new, much brighter colors, like its cave illusions. More work is on the Brice Bischoff website.
