Cheerful people do not hesitate to dance near the windows, realizing that they can be seen. Charlie Todd decided that it would be fun to have such dances in all the windows of the building. 61 people brought Charlie's idea to life on one of the streets of New York and staged a flash mob "Look up more". Against the background of the evening lights, mobbers from the group "Improv Everywhere" danced, jumped, performed funny tricks. The surrounding people reacted to what was happening with applause.
The flashmob took place in a building near Manhattan Park. It housed shops and leased empty premises. Preparing for this action, Charlie counted the number of windows - there were 68 of them. That is how many people agreed to take part in the flashmob, but at the last moment some of them refused. Each of the participants knew which of the windows he should be near. All of them received individual instructions with the actions that were required from them, as well as a plan of the building's windows.
In the evening, mobbers occupied the building. In order not to arouse suspicion among the sellers and guards, they all pretended to study the goods. At a certain moment, the participants in the flash mob approached their windows. Below, near the building, was Charlie, who coordinated their actions.
At a certain signal, the flash mob began. First, on the 4th floor of the building, mobbers stretched a huge sign "Look up more". Each held only one letter in his hands. Witnesses began to applaud. The evening lights of that building caught the attention of a large number of people.
Then, at a signal from Charlie, the mobbers began to dance. After the dance, all the participants in the action pointed to a certain window in which the person was supposed to be. To the chagrin of the organizers, the guards took him out. Everyone pointed to the other person. He was there and, waiting for attention to his person, began to dance with frantic energy.
After that, the figures in the window sat down on the floor. The letters that make up the words "Look up more" were raised again. By this time, huge crowds were already watching what was happening, which almost squealed with delight. They even forgot to show bikers in the park. Those, in turn, themselves stopped performing somersaults in order to admire the evening lights against the background of mobbers.
