Christmas holidays in someone initiate a desire to spend as much money as possible (in a shopping center in Santa Monica, even a Christmas tree from baskets was created for the holidays), someone has a desire to drink as much as possible, and someone has a desire to be creative. Conceptual artist Peter Eudenbach, who created an unusual Christmas tree ball called Chimera, belongs to the latter people.

The word "chimera" comes to us from Greek mythology. It was the name of a creature consisting of parts of the body of different animals, it had the head and neck of a lion, the body of a goat, and also a tail in the form of a snake. Peter Oidenbach, when creating his chimera, of course, did not cut it in parts and then glue the lion, goat and snake. No, he created an original Christmas tree toy, which is a glass ball on chicken legs. It is noteworthy that such a ball does not need a Christmas tree at all. After all, it has legs, which means that you can simply put it on a table, shelf or any other flat surface.

Peter Oidenbach himself explains his idea by the fact that the glass ball symbolizes the egg, the beginning of the world, which takes place every year on the night of December 31 to January 1. And the legs of this "egg" show that the new year (and with it the new world) has already begun to hatch, it is about to get rid of the shell and spread its wings. So a Christmas ball with Chimera legs from artist Peter Oidenbach will be an excellent gift for Christmas holidays for a person who is used to starting his life anew every year.
