The rapid development of the Internet and computer technology has led to the fact that the vast majority of literate people in the world typing more text on the keyboard, rather than writing it by hand. And in some states of the United States, the ability to use a pen and a pencil has already ceased to be mandatory for studying. And the words "mail" and "letter" in our time have become automatically perceived in the meaning of "e-mail".

And he asked all the people he met on the way to write a letter about how the Internet influenced the life of this person. And it does not matter at all whether it is typed on a computer, and subsequently printed, or written by hand.

All the letters he received were digitized by Jeroen van Loon by scanning them, and then he worked on them creatively, turning each of them into a portrait of the person who wrote it. Thus, the author showed that behind these letters are living people with their own history, their hopes, dreams, problems. And it is from these personalities, by and large, that the Internet consists. After all, the Global Network is not just a repository of digital information, but, to a large extent, also the people who use it.
