Imagine an empty, empty city where there is not a single person. Empty houses, workplaces and public places, empty streets and parks. There is not a single human soul. No life. Rather, there is no human life, but there is an animal.
Mikel Uribetxeberria's photo project "Animalia" is a series of animals in an unusual habitat for them, but familiar to humans. One gets the impression that animals have come to replace the human living race, which will not understand where they were, and what to do about it.
Pictures from the Animalia series were taken in gloomy rooms, hotel rooms, abandoned houses, on empty stairs, near an escalator, where, if, by shouting, one could hear the echo of one's own voice. The gorilla sits thoughtfully on the bed and waits for people to come to clean the room. At the station, the coyote is waiting for the train. The business battleship is discontentedly rushing about its newly acquired possessions. Animals are either uncomfortable, cold, or anxious about the human environment. They are strangers here. They will not replace people, and the comfort that a person needs is alien to an animal.
Photographer from the Basque country Mikel Uribetxeberria with his project "Animalia" shows how hard it will be for our smaller brothers in a city among civilization if they switch places with people. This is a kind of manifesto against those who keep animals in apartments, in the midst of civilization and progress. Animals must be free - this is the hidden message of photographer Mikel Uribetxeberria.

People and animals, or people-animals. Shocking sculptures by Kate Clark
Healthy as a bull, fat as a hippopotamus, stupid as a ram, dirty as a pig, stubborn as a donkey … as well as possible confirm the fact that we have not gone so far from the animals. At least in habits and behavior. And sometimes in a way of life, it is not for nothing that one who works at night is called an owl, and an early bird a lark … In sculptural installations am
Do not make yourself an idol, and people who disobeyed. Disciples Photo Project by James Mollison
Everyone knows that musicians, actors and other participants in show business have both fans and admirers. Someone does not see a big difference between these two concepts, but it is. The fan creates an idol for himself and loves his image. The admirer is a more adequate being. So, a fan will never rush to the end of the world to attend a concert of his favorite artist, he will not follow him around the cities, making the same tour as a musician … In the end, a fan has his own

People are like animals in the Grand Ole Bestiary photo project
Wanting to characterize a person from one side or another, we often resort to comparisons from the animal world: cunning, like a fox; shy like a hare; stubborn as a donkey … The author of the Grand Ole Bestiary photo project, probably, decided to find out what would happen if these comparisons were taken too literally. As a result, a series of images was born in which people have animal heads instead of human heads
People and animals. Photo by Carly Davidson
The genre "Me and My Cat" is almost the same age as the Internet. Now, when the network is filled with billions of photos of people with Persian cats against the background of Persian carpets and German shepherds against the background of Slavic wardrobes, it is hard to believe that photos of people with their animals can look decent. And yet there is no impossible task for an artist! Proof of this - people and animals in the wonderful photos of Carly Davidson
