Wanting to characterize a person from one side or another, we often resort to comparisons from the animal world: cunning, like a fox; shy like a hare; stubborn as a donkey … The author of the Grand Ole Bestiary photo project, probably, decided to find out what would happen if these comparisons were taken too literally. As a result, a series of images was born, in which people have animal heads instead of human heads.
So, pseudo-retro photographs depict important gentlemen and prim ladies - with the heads of squirrels, hares, lions, dogs, elephants … many. However, in this case, few people are interested in the technical side, the main thing is the idea. And here it is difficult to disagree with the fact that the author has chosen all the images very correctly: for example, touching baby hares or a socialite lady-lioness.
The Grand Ole Bestiary project can certainly be classified as humorous. This is evidenced by the names of all his heroes, say, "Mario Gorillini" or "Ulysses L. Bison III". In addition, all the characters have their own stories: the lady with the head of a fox turns out to be a master of seductive dances and a stealer of men's hearts, and the owner of the head of a goat is the greatest architect.
Unfortunately, absolutely nothing is known about the author of the project - neither name, nor age, nor place of residence. We can only say with confidence that he has an exceptional sense of humor. All images are sold through an online store at a reasonable price - from $ 8 to $ 15.
