The installation is impressive in size, stretching 1.8 miles in length and 500 feet in height. In comparison, "The Bay Lights" is seven times the size of the light show, which was staged to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower. The installation is scheduled to run until March 2015, daily, from sunset to midnight. During this time, the brainchild of Leo Villareal will be seen by about 50 million people.
